ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Pittsburgh Steelers offensive guard James Daniels (Achilles) suffered an Achilles tear in the team's 27-24 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. It's a massive blow to the Steelers' offensive unit, as Daniels was Pittsburgh's highest-rated offensive lineman per PFF and the top-ranked guard in the league out of 70 qualifiers. Guard Isaac Seumalo (pectoral) has yet to appear in action this season, meaning the team could be without its top two players at the position in Week 5 when the team hosts the visiting Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. The Steelers will now turn to backup right-guard Mason McCormick for the remainder of the season. This is the second offensive lineman that Pittsburgh has lost for the season after tackle Troy Fautanu (knee) went down in Week 3. With Spencer Anderson the only other guard on the roster without a designation, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Steelers seek help elsewhere.--Alex CiullaRead More News
