The Giants released linebacker Blake Martinez on Thursday night. The veteran joined the team in 2020 after agreeing to a three-year, $30 million contract. He finished his first season in New York by recording 151 tackles, five passes defensed, three sacks, two forced fumbles, and one pick. However, he tore his ACL in Week 3 of the 2021-22 campaign and missed the rest of the year. That said, assuming Martinez's health issues are behind him, he'll likely find work, and it could happen soon. While it's possible he may have lost a step since the injury, he should draw consideration from IDP managers based on his tackling prowess over the years.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBallerRead More News
