Edward Cabrera To Make His Second Start Tuesday
3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Edward Cabrera will make his second start of the season on Tuesday when the team takes on the Washington Nationals. The 24-year-old made his season debut last Wednesday and was extremely impressive. Despite having the unenviable task of pitching against the Rockies in Colorado, he threw six shutout innings and allowed just one hit and four walks while striking out nine. Cabrera struggled in his first taste of the majors in 2021, pitching to a 5.81 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP over seven starts. However, fantasy managers would be wise to put those 2021 stats in the rear view mirror. He's one of the Marlins' top pitching prospects and his high upside makes him worthy of a roster spot in just about all fantasy leagues.
