Dylan Raiola Suffers Season-Ending Injury
Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola (leg) broke his right fibula during the game versus USC Saturday night, sidelining Raiola for the remainder of the season. The injury occurred while Raiola was being sacked and losing a fumble early in the third quarter. Before the injury, Raiola completed 10 of 15 passes against the Trojans, totaling 91 yards and one touchdown. Raiola has started every game since he stepped foot on campus as a true freshman in 2024, 22 games in total for the Huskers. Raiola set class records in his freshman year with 2,819 passing yards, a completion percentage of 67.1%, and helped lead the Huskers to a bowl game for the first time since 2016. In total, he has completed 72.4% of his passes for over 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns as just a sophomore. Freshman TJ Lateef will start at quarterback moving forward.
