Free-agent wide receiver Demaryius Thomas will avoid jail time after he pleaded guilty to a careless-driving charge in Colorado on Wednesday. He was sentenced to one year of probation, 50 hours of community service and fines in connection with the charge. Thomas' car crashed last month after he lost control while driving 70 mph in a 30 mph zone. Thomas was traded from Denver to Houston last year and caught just 23 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns in seven games for the Texans before blowing out his Achilles. For a receiver that is on the wrong side of 30 coming off a devastating injury, fantasy owners shouldn't expect much if he signs with a team.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
