Brock Bowers Ruled Out For Week 6
Brock Bowers (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Bowers is set to miss his second consecutive game while nursing a PCL/ bone bruise in his knee that he suffered back in Week 1 at New England. Head coach Pete Carroll emphasized the importance of "taking care of him" to ensure that when he returns, there are no setbacks. It was clear that Bowers was not right on the field, and his numbers reflected it, failing to exceed 50 yards in the three games following his 103-yard performance in Week 1. Third-year tight end Michael Mayer (head) is expected to return in Week 6 against Tennessee and could be relied on as a streamer at tight end for fantasy managers without Bowers.
