David Freese Primed For Postseason Stage
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder David Freese will take a career .291/.365/.546 slash line into Game 1 of the NLDS against the Nationals on Thursday. The veteran will enter the postseason swinging a sharp stick offensively as well, slashing .339/.379/.581 over his last 62 at-bats. Freese has enjoyed plenty of memorable postseason moments, and few will forget that the slugger posting 13 extra-base hits and 21 RBI through 18 playoff games with the Cardinals in 2011. Freese may not crack the lineup in every playoff game for a stacked Dodgers lineup, but he will be an underrated threat in October when facing left-handers.
