3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale (elbow) will throw two more innings of live batting practice on Tuesday in what should be his last live batting practice session before he goes on a minor league rehab assignment. Sale could need around a full month of work on a rehab assignment after coming back from Tommy John surgery, but the talented left-hander has made excellent progress of late. Barring any setbacks along the way, Sale could be an option for the Red Sox and fantasy managers at some point in August. The 32-year-old seven-time All-Star made not return to All-Star form right away upon his return in the second half of the season, but with his return getting closer, he should at least be stashed in the vast majority of fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
