The Arizona Cardinals signed safety Jalen Thompson to a contract extension on Friday that will run through the 2025 season. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Thompson has emerged as one of the best young defenders on the roster while teaming with Pro Bowler Budda Baker. The 24-year-old played in all 17 regular season games (12 starts) in 2021 and recorded a career-high 121 tackles, three interceptions and four pass breakups. "I'm trying to go Pro Bowl this year," Thompson said. "Last year I feel I could've made it. Unfortunately I didn't. But (goals are) making the Pro Bowl, making my team better, being a leader, and getting to a Super Bowl."--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
