Buccaneers Sign Ryan Neal
2 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former Seattle Seahawks safety Ryan Neal to an undisclosed one-year deal on Tuesday. The Seahawks rescinded their $2.627 million one-year tender to Neal as a restricted free agent after they signed former New York Giants safety Julian Love in free agency. Neal has played in 43 games (19 starts) since the 2020 season for Seattle. The 27-year-old racked up 111 solo tackles, two sacks, 10 tackles for loss, four QB hits, three interceptions, 16 passes defensed and a forced fumble in his four seasons with the Seahawks. He could have a chance to compete for a starting role in Tampa, but he can be ignored in IDP fantasy leagues.
