Bryan Reynolds Headed to Paternity List
Bryan Reynolds was pulled from Tuesday's game in the second inning due to his wife going into labor with their third child, reports Alex Stumpf of MLB.com. While there has been no official word yet from the Pirates, it's likely that he will be placed on the paternity list following the game. The maximum amount of time that can be spent on the paternity list is three days, meaning the 30-year-old should be expected back at some point in the upcoming series against the Texas Rangers. Reynolds is slashing a disappointing .222/.295/.360 on the year, although his .498 expected slugging percentage suggests that much better days are ahead for the switch-hitter.
