New York Giants linebacker Blake Martinez was placed on the reserve/COVID list Tuesday. It's unclear if he tested positive or came into close contact with someone who was infected. The Giants linebacker will be away from the team until he's cleared to return. Martinez led the Giants with 151 tackles last season to go along with 3.0 sacks, one interception, and two forced fumbles across 16 games in 2021. The 27-year-old plays a vital role in the Giants' defense and could lead the team in tackles for the second straight season in 2021.
