The Green Bay Packers restructured safety Adrian Amos' contract on Friday to free up some salary cap space ahead of the 2021 season, according to a source. Amos was No. 7 among safeties with a $9.65 million salary cap charge heading into the season, so it's no surprise that the Packers restructured his deal to give them a little more wiggle room. A Pro Football Focus All-Pro last year, Amos elevated his play late in the season, which coincided with Green Bay's defensive surge in the second half. In the first eight games, he had zero interceptions, one pass defended and eight missed tackles. In the second half, Amos had two picks, eight passes defended and two missed tackles. He led the team with 83 tackles, was second with two interceptions, third with nine passes defended and fourth with five tackles for loss in 2020. Amos and Darnell Savage make up one of the best safety duos in the NFL.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
