ANALYSIS: With Yoshinobu Yamamoto landing on the injured list, the Los Angeles Dodgers called up pitcher Landon Knack to take his spot in the rotation. In his first four starts with the Dodgers this season -- from April 17 to May 19 -- Knack had a 2.61 ERA and 16 strikeouts.
He then threw five scoreless innings with two hits, two walks, and two strikeouts against the Los Angeles Angels on June 21. That outing lowered his ERA to 2.10 on the year. In all five of his starts now in 2024, Knack has allowed two runs or less while allowing no more than four hits in any outing.

With this nice stretch on the mound, Knack is a solid add in most 12-plus team leagues. He won't strike out many batters, but he'll get plenty of run support and has limited damage all season. The right-hander is also lined up to face the San Francisco Giants in Week 14, a matchup that benefits him.
