As the fantasy football season continues, every decision, transaction, and lineup change matters. These are critical running back injuries to keep track of throughout the week. Being up-to-date on NFL injury news can give you an edge over your league mates in fantasy football.

Let's look at the updates for some running backs and see whether they may play in Week 10.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Christian McCaffrey Injury Update

McCaffrey (Achilles) is expected to play in Week 10 against the Buccaneers. The team officially listed him as questionable, but that designation is merely procedural as the 49ers get ready to activate him from injured reserve on Saturday. The star ranks as a low-end fantasy RB1 ahead of his season debut.

Brian Robinson Jr. Injury Update

Robison (hamstring) was downgraded to a non-participant in practice on Friday. He has officially been ruled out for Week 10, leaving Austin Ekeler in line to lead Washington's backfield while Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Jeremy McNichols also get involved.

Tony Pollard Injury Update

Pollard (foot) was limited on Friday and has officially been removed from the Titans' final injury report. He'll suit up against the Chargers in Week 10, ranking as an RB2 despite his tough matchup.

Kareem Hunt Injury Update

Hunt (quadricep) has logged back-to-back full practices. He'll suit up against the Broncos in Week 10, ranking as a solid RB2 option despite Denver's strong run defense.

Jonathon Brooks Injury Update

Brooks (knee) is questionable to play on Sunday in Germany. The rookie logged three consecutive full practices, but the Panthers are still leaving his status up in the air as they decide whether to activate him from the non-football injury list for Week 10. Even if he does suit up for his NFL debut, he'll operate behind Chuba Hubbard and should be left off the fantasy radar.

James Conner Injury Update

Conner (finger) logged a full practice on Friday and has been removed from the Cardinals' final injury report. He'll rank as a low-end RB2 versus the Jets and their strong run defense.

Tank Bigsby Injury Update

Bigsby (ankle) has been removed from the injury report after logging three limited practices in a row. He's coming off a quiet week in which he rushed for just 22 yards and didn't catch a pass. The second-year Auburn product ranks as a mid-to-low RB3/FLEX option.

Travis Etienne Jr. Injury Update

Etienne (hamstring) will play in Week 10 after logging three limited practices in a row. He played fewer snaps than Bigsby last week and should be left off the fantasy radar for the time being.

Bucky Irving Injury Update

Irving (toe) upgraded to a full participant on Friday. He has been removed from the injury report and will suit up against the 49ers, operating in tandem with Rachaad White.

Jordan Mason Injury Update

Mason (shoulder) was a full participant in practice on Friday. He has been removed from the injury report and will suit up against the Buccaneers. Despite his clean bill of health, Mason is due for a reduced workload with McCaffrey set to make his season debut.

Tyjae Spears Injury Update

Spears (hamstring) closed out the week with back-to-back full practices. He has been removed from the injury report and will play in Week 10 against the Chargers. He's slated to make his first appearance since Week 6 against Indianapolis. The 23-year-old finds himself in a clear backup role behind Pollard.

Jamaal Williams Injury Update

Williams (groin) is officially questionable for Week 10 after missing practice on Friday. Even if he suits up, the veteran remains in a clear backup role behind Alvin Kamara and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

Dameon Pierce Injury Update

Pierce (groin) has been ruled out for Week 10 after missing three consecutive practices. He's been healthy for just four games this season and can be dropped in all redraft leagues.

Gus Edwards Injury Update

Edwards (ankle) upgraded to a full participant on Friday. The Chargers are still listing him as questionable to play because he remains on injured reserve. If the Chargers activate him on Saturday, he should play on Sunday. Even if that's the case, Edwards is merely a depth option in Los Angeles and can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

D'Ernest Johnson Injury Update

Johnson (hamstring) is questionable to play in Week 10 after logging two limited practices in a row. The 28-year-old remains in a depth role behind Bigsby and Etienne.

Keilan Robinson Injury Update

Robinson (toe) logged three full practices in a row, but the Jaguars have still listed him as questionable for Week 10. Although the rookie has not yet made his NFL debut, that could happen this week if he is activated and Johnson ends up being inactive.

Julius Chestnut Injury Update

Chestnut (foot) is questionable for Week 10 after being limited in back-to-back practices. He remains in a depth role behind Pollard and Spears, keeping him off the fantasy radar for the time being.
