Is Davante Adams Playing In Week 4?
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Adams showed up on the injury report with a hamstring issue in Week 4 and did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday. He returned to practice as a limited participant on Friday.
Coach Sean McVay is optimistic that Adams can suit up for the Rams' 4 pm contest against the Indianapolis Colts. Adams played through the entirety of Los Angeles's 26-33 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3, catching three passes for 56 yards and a touchdown. He said he entered Week 4 with hamstring pain, but he could not pinpoint a specific hit that may have caused it.
"It's something that I'm working through, and they're doing a good job of helping me treat it. It's something that we’re working through every day, and I'm noticing improvements," the veteran wideout said in a press briefing on Friday.

Adams said he would be "smart" with how he handles the injury, as he pointed to the fact that the Rams are playing on Thursday Night Football in Week 5.
Adams and the Rams' receiving weapons have a strong matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts' defensive backs are relatively weak and have been decimated by injuries. Cornerback Jaylon Jones is on the injured reserve, and nickelback Kenny Moore II is out for Week 4.
If Adams does not play, the Rams do not have many other viable options for replacements. Adams and Puka Nacua account for 66.7% of the team's receptions and 73.9% of their receiving yards.
Jordan Whittington is the next man up, but you might want to consider possible replacement options on the 49ers, Jaguars, Colts, Raiders, Bears, Chiefs, or Ravens, the other teams that play in the late afternoon.
Is Jauan Jennings Playing In Week 4?
The San Francisco 49ers have not been known for their injury luck. This season is no different. Quarterback Brock Purdy and wide receiver Jennings both missed all or most of the past two games.
However, the team has some good news for Week 4. Purdy is back for sure, but will he have Jennings to throw to?
Jennings led the Niners in receiving yards in 2024. He broke out for 77 receptions and 975 yards last season while other receivers like Ricky Pearsall and Brandon Aiyuk missed time.
This year, the injury bug came for Jennings. In Week 1, Jennings suffered a shoulder injury, which caused him to leave after two catches. In Week 2, he suffered an ankle injury but continued playing and finished with five catches for 89 yards and a touchdown. He was not able to suit up for Week 3, however.

Now, after getting a limited practice in on Friday, Jennings is in line to start in Week 4, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The lingering effects of his shoulder and ankle injuries might limit his effectiveness or keep his snap count down, however, so if you are deciding between starting two players, that's a factor to consider.
Is Ricky Pearsall Playing In Week 4?
Heading into Week 4, Pearsall is second in the NFL in receiving yards. He has broken the 100-yard mark in two of his three games, and he's averaging a high 17.6 yards per reception. His lack of touchdowns is one of the few things holding down his fantasy production.
However, his streak of big-time fantasy games could come to an end if his knee injury prevents him from playing in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Pearsall noticed the pain following the Niners' 16-15 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3.
“I actually don’t even know when I hurt my knee, to be completely honest. I felt a little bit of soreness after the game, and it wasn’t until later on in the night," he said at a press conference on Wednesday.
The injury is not considered serious, and it didn't prevent him from practicing in a limited fashion on Thursday and Friday. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Pearsall is expected to play against the Jaguars this week.
Jennings is also expected to play, but his injury appears to be more serious than Pearsall's and might cause Jennings to play limited snaps. Tight end George Kittle remains on the injured reserve. That means Pearsall should be the focal point of the 49ers' passing game.
