The 23-year-old is expected to miss several months and could be sidelined for most or all of the season. Wallace earned All-Defensive Second Team honors last year while averaging 8.6 points and 1.9 steals and leading the NBA with 150 total steals. His absence leaves a big hole at the point of attack, with Alex Caruso likely to shoulder more of the defensive burden while Ajay Mitchell and Jared McCain get more chances in the backcourt.
