8 Fantasy Baseball Risers and Fallers - Ketel Marte, Gavin Williams, Jack Leiter, More

Ketel Marte - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB injury News

Kipp's fantasy baseball risers, fallers, breakouts for Week 10 of 2026. He analyzes hitters and pitchers performing well and poorly to determine future values.

Welcome, everyone, to another edition of RotoBaller’s Fantasy Baseball Risers and Fallers article series for Week 10 of the 2026 season! Today, I'll look at players like Ketel Marte, Gavin Williams, Jack Leiter, and more.

Keeping up with the latest hitter and pitcher trends is a key component of a successful season, and RotoBaller is here to help fantasy managers! Each week, I will select a few players who have performed well recently and a few who have not, and I will analyze their performances to determine how their future outcomes may be affected.

Following along here every week will give you an edge over your league mates and keep you up to date on who is firing on all cylinders and who is struggling to make ends meet. Every game makes an impact, and there is no time to wait for regression. Let's get into some Fantasy Risers and Fallers who may force some tough decisions.

Fantasy Baseball Hitter Risers

Ketel Marte, 2B, Arizona Diamondbacks

Marte was in this article not too long ago as a faller, but now he enters as a riser. and for good reason. He ranks as the top player in Yahoo! leagues over the previous two weeks, having slashed .431/.474/.765 with four HR, 17 RBI, 13 R, and five BB. This is more like the Marte we expected entering the 2026 campaign.

Overall, the metrics look pretty solid, as he ranks in the 88th percentile or higher in xwOBA, xBA, and xSLG. Additionally, he ranks in the 79th percentile in average exit velocity and the 71st percentile in barrel rate. I think we all knew Marte would not be down for long, and it is great to see him returning to form.

Jarren Duran, OF, Boston Red Sox

Jarren Duran got off to a very rough start to begin the 2026 campaign, but he has rebounded nicely over the previous couple of weeks. Over that span, he ranks as the sixth-best player in Yahoo! leagues and has slashed .340/.393/.698 with five HR, 14 RBI, eight R, and five BB.

He has collected hits in eight straight games, including Sunday's tilt with the Guardians. While his metrics are still lagging a bit behind due to the slow start, he does rank in the 72nd and 75th percentiles in average exit velocity and barrel rate, respectively. This tells us, despite the struggles, the thump is still located within his bat.

I would expect him to continue progressing from here, and his xwOBA, xBA, and xSLG should continue to increase as we move deeper into the season.

Fantasy Baseball Pitcher Risers

Gavin Williams, Cleveland Guardians

You knew there was going to be a Guardian in this article if I had the opportunity, and Williams is certainly worth mentioning as a riser this week, given his recent results. Over the previous two weeks, he ranks as the eighth-best player in Yahoo! fantasy leagues and has posted a 1.29 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and 22 strikeouts across 21 IP.

Additionally, he has racked up three wins over that span. Quite frankly, he has been pitching like one of the best pitchers in the league, and the ranking shows that. His metrics this season have also been sharp. Overall, he ranks in the 85th percentile or better in chase rate, whiff rate, and K rate.

While I cannot say for certain if Williams will continue to pitch as strongly as he has over the previous two weeks, I can say that he is a fantastic talent who is not pitching above his potential this far. Look for him to continue rolling, especially when you consider he pitches in the lackluster AL Central.

Kyle Harrison, Milwaukee Brewers

Kyle Harrison has been a popular play in the K props thread this season over on Discord, but he has also been a steady arm this season, especially over the previous two weeks. Over that span, he ranks as the 12th-best player in Yahoo! leagues with a 0.00 ERA, 0.54 WHIP, and 13 strikeouts across 13 IP.

Additionally, he has collected two wins over that span. While I cannot be certain he will continue this pace, the metrics are rather encouraging. Overall, he ranks in the 74th percentile or better in a number of meaningful categories. Specifically, he ranks in the 85th percentile in chase rate and 92nd percentile in K rate.

He also ranks in the 74th percentile in whiff rate, which suggests the strikeout upside should continue. He may not continue to perform at the pace he has, but he should continue to be a meaningful arm in fantasy rotations throughout the season, nonetheless.

Fantasy Baseball Hitter Fallers

Kyle Schwarber, OF, Philadelphia Phillies

We have reached the fallers section, and unfortunately, a superstar in Kyle Schwarber is first up to be discussed, as he has not been performing well recently. Over the previous two weeks, Schwarber ranks 562nd in Yahoo! leagues, having slashed .243/.263/.432 with two HR, three RBI, and three R.

Schwarber is also posting an ugly 45% K rate over that span, so it is no wonder he is not producing any counting stats at the plate. I would not expect these struggles to continue for long, as he still ranks 20th overall in Yahoo! leagues despite them. Furthermore, the metrics are still splendid.

Overall, he ranks in the 90th percentile or better in a ton of meaningful categories, including xwOBA, xSLG, average exit velocity, barrel rate, and the list goes on and on. Look for him to rebound quickly and get back to mashing home runs like we have all grown so accustomed to.

Riley Greene, OF, Detroit Tigers

Riley Greene is another player who I am not as worried about in the fallers category, but needs to be mentioned, as he has looked abysmal over the previous two weeks. Over that span, he ranks 656th in Yahoo! leagues while posting a slash line of .234/.321/.255 with zero home runs, two RBI, three R, and four BB.

Overall, Greene still ranks as a top-120 player, so we will not get overly concerned here, especially when looking at the metrics. He ranks in the 75th percentile or better in almost every metric outside of whiff rate and K rate, which have always been an issue for Greene.

He is still posting a hard hit rate of 50.3%, which ranks in the 91st percentile, and has respectable metrics throughout, so we are not going to sound the alarms just yet. Look for this stretch to simply be a blip on the radar and expect him to improve moving forward.

Fantasy Baseball Pitcher Fallers

Joey Cantillo, Cleveland Guardians

We have our second Guardian in this article with Joey Cantillo, and unfortunately, he is in the fallers category. Cantillo looked sharp early in the season, but has struggled lately. Over the previous two weeks, he ranks 489th in Yahoo! leagues, having posted a 4.70 ERA, 1.70 WHIP, and seven strikeouts across 7 2/3 IP.

The 1.70 WHIP really stands out here, and that is a direct result of his control issues. Cantillo frequently walks too many batters, and this is evidenced by the fact that he ranks in the 13th percentile with a 12.7% walk rate this season. The strikeouts will come steadily, given his 27.2% whiff rate, but he will need to regain his control if he wants to be more effective.

He is worth keeping on your roster given the competition he faces in the AL Central, but know that there will be some bumps along the road this season, and this is surely one of them.

Jack Leiter, Texas Rangers

Leiter is another arm who has struggled recently. Over the previous two weeks, he ranks 609th in Yahoo! leagues, having posted an ugly 6.55 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, and just nine strikeouts through 11 IP. The strikeouts are down simply because he has been lit up in his two most recent starts, but they should continue to climb again when he comes out of this slump.

He allowed four earned runs at Coors Field two starts ago, so it is no wonder he has made this list. Any pitcher making a start at Coors Field could find themselves on this list shortly after. That being said, Leiter is not a pitcher I would want on my roster moving forward.

While he does generate solid swing and misses, he consistently gets tagged for runs, having allowed four or more earned runs in six starts this season. Overall, he ranks outside the top 600 in Yahoo! fantasy leagues and is someone I would consider cutting loose in the near future, if you have not done so already.
