D'Onta Foreman's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit D'Onta Foreman for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4/5
ANALYSIS: D'Onta Foreman was the Chicago Bears' primary running back during the five games Khalil Herbert missed due to injury. In that span, he had two great games while in the other three, he provided little fantasy production in spite of his usage. In Week 11, Foreman's snap share plummeted to 24% thanks to an early exit courtesy of a high ankle sprain. Prior to his departure, he had six carries for just 14 yards, though he did make it into the endzone on one of his rushes.
Foreman did not practice to start the week but upgraded to limited on Friday. Saturday's practice report will provide more information but even if cleared, he will likely have a reduced workload against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night. The Vikings represent a difficult matchup as well, as they have allowed less than 800 rushing yards and only four touchdowns on the ground to opposing running backs this season. Fantasy managers are better off seeking another option for their RB slot in Week 12 rather than reserving a place for an injured Foreman in these circumstances.
