De'Von Achane's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 13 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit De'Von Achane for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3
ANALYSIS: De'Von Achane exploded onto the fantasy football scene back in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos. In that infamous thrashing, the rookie had 22 total touches for 233 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns, two rushing and two receiving.
In the next two games, he ran for another 252 yards on 19 carries and found the end zone three more times. Unfortunately, Achane was placed on injured reserve after suffering a sprained knee in Week 5 and then suffered a setback in his return in Week 11.
The Miami Dolphins are ready to bring Achane back into action in Week 13 against the Washington Commanders. He will share the workload with Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr. but he was splitting time when he was wreaking havoc on opposing defenses earlier this season as well.
Over the last four weeks, the Commanders are allowing 5.25 yards per carry to opposing running backs and the third-most fantasy points per game to the position. Achane has the upside for a boom week against a generous defense, making him worthy of a start especially for teams still looking to lock down a playoff spot.
