Fantasy Baseball Streamers - MLB Hitter, Pitcher Lineup Picks for Thursday 6/24

Top daily fantasy baseball streamers and waiver wire adds for 6/24/21. Dave Swan identifies MLB hitters and starting pitchers to stream based on matchups.

Baseball is back, and fantasy managers in daily leagues, no doubt, already have holes to fill with streamers. Fortunately, RotoBaller has you covered with daily fantasy baseball streaming picks.

Each day, RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in fantasy baseball daily leagues. Additionally, these recommendations can be useful for fantasy managers setting MLB DFS lineups

We have a 10-game slate Thursday, starting earlier than usual. Fortunately, there are quite a few streamable players with 20 teams taking the field. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from Yahoo! leagues.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Hitter Streamers for 6/24 - Shallow Leagues

Alex Kirilloff (1B/OF, MIN) - 31% rostered

Matchup: vs. RHP J.C. Mejia

Kirilloff's massive 14.3% barrel rate makes way for a solid chance of a dinger today. Even better, AK is not striking out as much as when he first made his debut. Furthermore, Kirilloff should be able to smash an RHP like J.C. Mejia. The main reason for this is Mejia's best pitch; his slider does not get thrown to left-handed bats. Against lefties, Mejia has an ERA over 10.00 and 1.75 WHIP.

Jorge Soler (OF, KC) - 43% rostered

Matchup: @ RHP Jameson Taillon

Very few streamers are available with the career ISO of Jorge Soler. While that hasn't helped him very much this season, as seen by the six HRs over 219 ABs. It does help indicate that there is power potential. Cast aside that putrid batting average for a moment, and look at the underlying Statcast metrics. His 51% hard-hit rate and 12% barrel rate mean he needs to make contact for a great afternoon. His mound nemesis today is Jameson Taillon, who himself has been up and down. Let's bank on the down today.

Victor Robles (OF, WAS) - 29% rostered

Matchup: @ RHP Cody Poteet

Very few have all the tools of Victor Robles. The once top prospect could break any slate; if things come together. He harnesses the 71st percentile sprint speed to swipe a bag anytime he gets on base. That's where things get interesting. Robles is walking-finally. His 10% walk rate should put him on base for the SB opportunity, but outside of that, the lack of loud contact is worrisome. Targeting speed upside? Robles is your guy!

Freddy Galvis (2B/SS, BAL) - 20% rostered

Matchup: @ RHP Anthony Kay

Speaking of plenty of skills, Galvis is interesting as well. He has been putting more balls in play than ever before, which isn't a bad thing. Batted balls in play can produce stats. However, they will hurt your rates. For instance, take his .376 SLG% vs. RHP. While it is less than impressive, against RHP, he does have 13 extra-base hits(7 doubles, 1 triple, and 5 HRs). Give me an extra-base shot again today, and we can laugh at .376 SLG% later.

Hitter Streamers for 6/24 - Deeper Leagues

William Contreras (C, ATL) - 16% rostered

Matchup: @ RHP Tony Santillan

Contreras has been quiet as of late. However, he still touts an 11% barrel rate and .441 xwOBAcon. The biggest deterrent for a productive afternoon will be his 31% K-rate. His profile has turned into a boom-or-bust, so the expectation shouldn't be one of a multi-hit affair. But, instead, the hope is a 1-for-4 game with an extra-base knock and a couple of RBIs. As far as the catcher position goes, streaming a batter in a top-five offense, with plenty of thumps, and in one of the most HR-heavy parks means you start him regardless of position.

Colin Moran (1B/2B/3B, PIT) - 19% rostered

Matchup: @ RHP Carlos Martinez

To say Moran has been awful lately would be kind. However, a game against Carlos Martinez might be a perfect remedy for the yips. C-Mart is struggling immensely, and his K-BB% is 7.0%. Even worse, left-handed bats are crushing him, as shown by the 7.88 ERA. It might all come together today because against RHP; Moran is slashing .297/.352/.459 with a .812 OPS.

Tony Kemp (OF, OAK) - 10% rostered

Matchup: vs. LHP Kolby Allard

Kemp has been getting run at the leadoff spot in Oakland. That has helped translate into plenty of runs because of his elite on-base skills. Kemp is walking at a near 16% clip and only striking out 14.7% of the time. Keep getting on base and piling up the stats Tony!

Pitcher Streamers for 6/24 - Shallow Leagues

Kolby Allard (SP, TEX) - 20% rostered

Matchup: vs. OAK Chris Bassitt

Oakland has been a tough bunch to stream against. However, Allard has been dealing. Since June, Allard has 16 innings pitched with 16 strikeouts and only three walks. Even better, only four earned runs in that timeframe. His new pitch mix is keeping batters off-balanced from either side of the dish. Both lefties and right-handed bats have been unable to get to Allard. This could be a great spot to grab a win for Allard if the Rangers can toss enough runs on the board against Bassitt.
