The Minnesota Vikings have acquired defensive end Yannick Ngakoue from the Jaguars, ending a months-long saga that involved the former Pro Bowler wanting to depart from the organization at any cost. Ngakoue additionally signed a new one-year deal, albeit a discount of what he would have received had he accepted a franchise tender from the Jaguars. With the move, Ngakoue will face Jacksonville on Dec. 6. Minnesota had to part with a second-round and conditional fifth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, further enhancing the defense’s season-long upside during draft season.--Jesse BorekRead More News
