Keegan Akin Set To Make First MLB Start Monday
Keegan Akin is slated to make his first big league start Monday against Toronto, manager Brandon Hyde announced Sunday. Ranked as the Orioles’ No. 14 prospect, Akin will take Tommy Milone’s spot in the starting rotation following his trade to Atlanta. Akin has already appeared twice out of relief this season, having yielded three runs in 3 ⅓ frames. Having averaged 10.5 K/9 at Triple-A last year, Akin provides an upside DFS candidate, especially considering what is likely to be a low price tag.
