We'll take a look at today's nine-game slate on DraftKings, picking out the pitchers, infielders, and outfielders that can help you take down a big GPP. With Arizona traveling to Colorado, there are going to be plenty of spicy bats that you'll want to spend your coin on. But there are also some juicy bats playing elsewhere. I mean, Martin Perez is pitching, right? That dude basically walks around with Coor Field in his back pocket and is ready to whip it out and give up four home runs at any time.
In this article, I'll be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for the DraftKings main slate on 8/10/2020. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel and other sports as well.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Randy Dobnak - SP, MIN @ MIL ($7,500)
Let everyone else eat that heavy Patrick Corbin chalk and give me Randy Dobnak instead. The surprising Dobnak has been Minnesota's best pitcher so far in 2020, posting a 0.60 ERA over three starts and picking up two wins. With only a 14.3% K-rate, he's not a strikeout artist and is instead getting it done with a 68.2% groundball-rate driven by a heavy sinker that is getting 30%-more vertical movement than the league average. And Dobnak may not possess a lot of whiffery in his game but the Brewers could help him out on that front; Milwaukee has a 30.1% K-rate versus right-handers that's the second-highest in baseball, along with a .291 wOBA.
Jon Gray - SP, COL vs. ARI ($7,000)
Wait!... Hear me out. Yes, I'm recommending a pitcher at Coors. No, I'm not totally insane. Partially, it's about the slate and its lack of solid pitching options. Gray's ownership will be minuscule, as it should be, and he'll cost you little on a slate with a mess of pricey hitting options. Like, perhaps, the Rockies? But it's also about how bad the Diamondbacks have been against right-handed pitching. Arizona has a .283 wOBA and 80 wRC+ that are both the 5th-lowest in baseball and a .640 OPS that's the 6th-lowest. Make no mistake, this is not a cash-game play. But getting 10-15 points from Gray in a tournament where he has < 5% ownership could be a big boon if it allows you to stack up some big bats.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
Nolan Arenado - 3B, COL vs. ARI ($6,300)
Well, he ain't cheap. Arenado checks in as the day's most expensive option and it's well deserved given the matchup and venue. At home in the friendly thin-aired confines of Coors, Arenado gets left-hander Robbie Ray, who's allowed a .350 wOBA and .233 ISO versus RHB since the start of 2019. On the other hand, Arenado absolutely crushes lefties, posting a .407 wOBA and .280 ISO against them over the same period.
C.J. Cron - 1B, DET vs. CHW ($3,100)
A Tigers stack didn't go anywhere yesterday but I'll go back to the well for Monday night's action. Cron has destroyed left-handed pitching since the start of 2019, with a .406 wOBA, .310 ISO, and a 41.9% hard-hit rate. He'll face off against Dallas Keuchel, who's been solid this year so far, with a 2.55 ERA over his first three starts and is only allowing 0.51 HR/9. He also only has a 7.7% HR/FB% and hasn't allowed such a low HR/9 since 2016. Let's just say he's due to give up a jack or two.
Jonathan Schoop - 2B, DET vs. CHW ($3,700)
Just like Cron above, playing Schoop yesterday was a big whiff, going 0-for-4 with a run scored. But I'll still go back to him considering how well he hits lefties. Schoop has 47.6% hard-hit rate versus LHP since the start of 2019, with a .377 wOBA and .288 ISO. Schoop (along with Cron and friends) can give you an affordable stack that has a big ceiling while letting you afford that Coors stack you've had your eye on.
Yasmani Grandal - C, CHW @ DET ($3,400)
Detroit starter Michael Fulmer will only be going 2-3 innings today but after he gave up three home runs in 2.2 innings in his season debut, I'm betting someone else will get him for a long-dong before he makes his exit. My pick is the switch-hitting Grandal, who has a .384 wOBA and .263 ISO versus right-handers, with a 44% hard-hit rate and 18.8% BB%. And after Fulmer makes his exit, it'll be Daniel Norris taking his spot; Norris only lasted 1.2 innings in his only start of the season, allowing four hits and two earned runs versus Cincinnati on August 2.
Leury Garcia - 2B/SS, DET vs. MIL ($3,300)
Garcia was a forgotten man headed into 2020, as most assumed he was only a placeholder for top-prospect Nick Madrigal. But Madrigal is out of the picture after suffering a separated shoulder and Garcia just continues to hit. Through 59 PA, Garcia is now slashing .273/.322/.455 with three home runs, eight RBI, and six runs scored. The switch-hitting Garcia faces right-hander Adrian Houser, coming in with a .347 wOBA versus RHP since 2019 and looks to be batting leadoff today. And it's a Coors day so getting Garcia for virtual pennies should help your budget while still providing a decent floor.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Charlie Blackmon - OF, COL vs. ARI ($5,800)
Compared to the $6K+ price tags of Arenado and Story, Blackmon is a virtual bargain at only $5,800. Just like Arenado from above, Blackmon will face Robbie Ray and his love of giving up dongs to right-handed batters; Ray allowed 1.77 HR/9 to RHB in 2019. Blackmon destroys lefties, with a .404 wOBA and .272 ISO versus them since 2019, along with a 40.0% hard-hit rate.
Austin Meadows - OF, TB @ BOS ($5,500)
People may be sleeping on Meadows and might not want to pay his hefty price tag given his slow start since returning from the COVID-IL on August 4. Meadows has a .238 AVG through his first six games, with a 33% K-rate and zero home runs. If there's a time to change, it's facing home-run bingo machine, Martin Perez. The left-handed Meadows more than holds his own versus his fellow lefties, with a 46.6% Hard% against them since the start of 2019, with a .342 wOBA and .239 ISO. And Martin Perez hasn't given up a home run this season? Sign me up.
Brandon Lowe - 2B/OF, TB @ BOS ($4,600)
Lowe has picked up right where he left off in 2019, slashing .275/.351/.588 with three home runs and 10 RBI. The left-handed-hitting Lowe is actually a crusher of LHP, posting a 48.6% Hard% against them, with a .224 ISO and .341 wOBA. He faces the aforementioned Martin Perez...As in, "hasn't given up a home run yet" Martin Perez. That's going to change and probably soon.
