This Friday has a full slate of games, so it's time to build some lineups. With several different contests being offered on DraftKings, you'll have lots of different lineup options. For our purposes, the following picks have been made for contests running all day.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/9/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings
Boston Red Sox vs. Jordan Zimmermann (RHP)
It's pretty confusing that Jordan Zimmermann is still pitching every fifth day for the Tigers, because he's been straight up garbage for the last two years. He enters Friday with a 5.98 ERA on the year, and with an insanely high 2.34 HR/9. That means he's going to get obliterated at Fenway Park. Mookie Betts and Andrew Benintendi are elite plays, along with Hanley Ramirez and Xander Bogaerts. Most Red Sox hitters who are in the lineup aren't going to be very cheap, but they're completely worth it against Zimmermann. Get as many into your lineups as you can on Friday.
Texas Rangers vs. Tanner Roark (RHP)
There are lots of Rangers hitters coming in at cheap prices on Friday against Nationals starter Tanner Roark, making them a great value stack. Roark isn't a horrible pitcher, but he's about as average as they come, with a 3.95 ERA and a 19.8% K-rate. He's definitely not an obvious stack target, but the Rangers can definitely do some damage against him. Shin-Soo Choo is a fantastic value at $3,800, while Elvis Andrus and Nomar Mazara are top-tier plays to consider. Playing some ultra-cheap bats like Rougned Odor and Jonathan Lucroy can also pay off, allowing you to spend more elsewhere. Roark is a contrarian pitcher to target, as not many other fantasy owners will focus on him, so Rangers bats could produce well at a low ownership rate.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings
Brad Peacock, HOU @ LAA - $7,900
Astros starter Brad Peacock is an outstanding play on Friday against the Angels. Peacock has absolutely shredded in his first three starts since joining the Houston rotation, striking out an absurd 25 batters in 15 innings of work. Now that he's fully stretched out as a starter, Peacock can go deeper into games, as he went six innings his last time out. Peacock has a disgusting curveball/slider combo, and he's gotten more velocity on his fastball and is locating it well. The 29-year-old is more than just smoke and mirrors, and he gets one of the best matchups in baseball at the Angels. The Angels have a .298 team wOBA against right-handers, putting them 27th in all of baseball, and they are without Mike Trout. This is Peacock's easiest matchup yet, and he's still going for a very low price, so buy now while you still can.
Jhoulys Chacin, SD vs. KC - $6,400
On the surface, Padres starter Jhoulys Chacin looks like somebody you would never want to start, with a 5.65 ERA and 1.46 WHIP. However, Chacin has actually been incredible at home this season, posting a 1.36 ERA in 33 innings at Petco Park this season. Petco Park is a very friendly pitcher's park where Chacin has been able to thrive, and that should continue against a weak Royals lineup. The Royals are 26th in the league in wOBA against righties, at .299, so they're an easy opposition for Chacin at home. He's also coming in at a super cheap price, so you can fill out your lineup with elite bats while Chacin holds down one of your pitcher slots.
DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings
Catcher (C)
James McCann, DET @ BOS - $3,100
Against lefty Brian Johnson at Fenway Park, James McCann is an outstanding catcher option. Friday will be McCann's first day back off of the disabled list, and he will regain his platoon role against left-handers. McCann has murdered lefties throughout his career, posting a 140 wRC+ against them. At Fenway, McCann can do some serious damage in the power department, as he already has 7 homers in just 125 plate appearances. And since other owners might not be aware he is returning, McCann will probably have a very low ownership, making him even more valuable.
First Base (1B)
Carlos Santana, CLE vs. CHW - $4,400
There are an absurd amount of first baseman you can spend big on, so at $4,400, Carlos Santana isn't really even expensive for the 1B slot. That's good news, because he faces off against Miguel Gonzalez, who has a 4.83 ERA and gave up six earned his last time out. The Indians are going to put up lots of runs against Gonzalez, and Santana will get lots of RBI opportunities batting cleanup.
Second Base (2B)
Brian Dozier, MIN @ SF - $3,800
For a guy with nine home runs and eight steals, Brian Dozier is incredibly cheap. Dozier has been in a slump lately, but he's still got an elite power/speed combo that can result in a ton of fantasy points on any given night. And on no other night is Dozier better to target than on Friday, when he faces Giants lefty Matt Moore. Moore has been awful, with a 5.22 ERA this season, and Dozier crushes lefties, as he's got a 133 wRC+ against them in his career. Moore's 1.57 HR/9 makes it a strong possibility that Dozier goes deep, but even if he doesn't, Dozier will certainly produce out of the Twins leadoff spot.
Shortstop (SS)
Chris Owings, ARI vs. MIL - $4,000
Chris Owings has had an electric season thus far, batting .299 with seven homers and nine steals in a potent Diamondbacks lineup. When the DBacks are at home, they can do some real damage, as shown by Owings' six RBI and four runs in his last three games. Brewers starter Zach Davies won't know what hit him when he takes the mound at Chase Field, as he's already got a poor 4.69 ERA with a 16.4% K-rate and 8.5% walk-rate. Pairing Owings with another DBack hitter or two would be a savvy move, as they're going to produce well at home on Friday.
Third Base (3B)
Logan Forsythe, LAD vs. CIN - $3,500
Logan Forsythe is another extreme splits hitter, as he has a 131 wRC+ against lefties in his career compared to just 87 against righties. In just 2017, Forsythe has a .393 average against left-handers, and because of this, the Dodgers lead him off against lefties. The leadoff spot is the best place to be for DFS, as leadoff hitters get the most plate appearances and have strong batters behind them ready to drive them in. Forsythe faces Amir Garrett, who has a 7.17 ERA, so Forsythe should be due for lots of fantasy points.
DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings
Josh Reddick, HOU vs. LAA - $3,800
Batting second for the Astros, Josh Reddick is an excellent play on Friday. The Astros face Matt Shoemaker, owner of a 4.12 ERA in 2017, and they are at home at a great hitter's park in Houston. The Astros lineup is tops in all of baseball with their .348 wOBA, so Reddick batting second means that he will have tons of chances at runs and RBIs. He's only $3,800, so it would be smart to consider Reddick.
Christian Yelich, MIA @ PIT - $4,000
Against Pirates starter Tyler Glasnow, Christian Yelich is a superb addition to your lineups. As the Marlins three-hitter, he will be right in the middle of the action, as Glasnow has a 6.97 ERA and a wild 11.9% walk-rate. Yelich's patient approach, leading him to only strike out 16.3% of the time, will play well against Glasnow's lack of control.
Matt Kemp, ATL vs. NYM - $4,100
Matt Kemp has destroyed the ball this season, knocking 10 home runs in 214 plate appearances with a .325/.360/.557 line. This gives him a 140 wRC+ out of the cleanup spot for Atlanta. He's at home in this matchup, which is important as the new SunTrust park has been playing like an extreme hitter's park so far. Kemp gets to feast on Matt Harvey, who has a 5.43 ERA and and awful 16.9% K-rate and 11.8% BB-rate.
