Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 4:

Jaylin Noel, Houston Texans

Houston Texans wide receiver Jaylin Noel has been quiet to start his second season and could see a reduced role moving forward. In three games, Noel has caught five of nine targets for 101 yards and added 21 rushing yards on two carries. The second-year receiver has played just 38% of snaps and 42% of routes, and ranks fifth among Texans pass catchers in targets.

With star wideout Nico Collins (hamstring) set to return, Noel could see a minimal role in Week 4. Also worth noting, Tank Dell (knee) is nearing a return from injured reserve after a significant injury sustained during the 2024 season. Given the crowded Texans receiving corps and Noel's limited role, he should be safely dropped in most fantasy leagues.

Chris Bell, Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins rookie wide receiver Chris Bell had the best game of his young career in his team's Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, recording four catches for 67 yards on seven targets. With fellow Dolphins rookie wideout Caleb Douglas (ankle) sidelined by an ankle injury, Bell emerged as a key target for Miami quarterback Malik Willis. Bell played on 71% of Miami's offensive snaps on Sunday and finished tied for second on the team in targets.

Douglas' eventual return could impact Bell's playing time. However, the 22-year-old is only getting healthier himself after missing a large chunk of the summer while recovering from a torn ACL. As Bell gets more comfortable in terms of both health and experience, his production could continue to improve. In PPR-scoring leagues with 12 or more teams, Bell profiles as a worthy waiver wire target for fantasy managers but is best to leave out of your starting lineup.

George Holani, Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks running back George Holani (ribs) is a risky play in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Rookie running back Jadarian Price (chest) is slated to miss this matchup. Holani should see a decent amount of passing game usage, but he will likely cede rushing volume to Emanuel Wilson.

This will be the Holani and Wilson show all game long, but it is difficult to trust Holani despite this being a neutral matchup for running backs in fantasy. Additionally, Seattle figures to be ahead for much of this matchup. As such, Holani's passing game usage could be capped.

Until Week 3, in which the Seahawks played from behind for much of the game, Holani had not exceeded more than one reception in a game. Wilson is definitely the preferred Seahawks running back in Week 4. Leave Holani on waivers this week.

Cooper Kupp, Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp is not a viable fantasy option in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Kupp enters this matchup as the WR50. He has only received 11 targets through three games. Kupp put up solid fantasy numbers in Week 3 due to a late touchdown reception. However, Week 4 does not project to be as competitive a matchup.

Seattle is -7 on Sunday, and Kupp does not tend to receive much volume in games in which Seattle dominates. This passing offense runs through wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Given JSN's 39% target share, there is very little to go around for the rest of the wide receivers in this offense. You can leave Kupp on your bench or on waivers in Week 4. He is untrustworthy for fantasy despite his important role in the Seahawks' success.

Ryan Flournoy, Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy remains worth watching in deeper PPR leagues after drawing a season-high eight targets in Sunday's loss to Baltimore. He caught only two of them for 22 yards, so the production still has not matched the opportunities. Flournoy now has nine receptions for 67 yards on 18 targets through three games while continuing to work behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens in the Dallas passing game.

That makes him difficult to trust as an immediate starter, but 18 targets through three weeks is enough to keep him in the conversation. Flournoy ranks 44th overall among RotoBaller's Week 4 waiver options, with the recommendation geared toward 14-team PPR formats. He is a reasonable bench stash in deeper leagues if the targets continue, while managers in standard 10- or 12-team leagues can still wait to see if the production starts to follow.
