The Washington Commanders signed wide receiver Treylon Burks to a one-year contract with a max value of $4 million this offseason. Burks joined the Commanders midway through 2025 to play a limited role and produced a handful of eye-catching catches. Team reporters have consistently praised him for making those highlight plays and routinely standing out during offseason workouts. Additionally, he is getting a legit chance to prove to coaches that he can handle a key role in the Washington offense. Burks has been operating as the No. 2 wide receiver in two-receiver formations for the majority of first-team reps opposite Terry McLaurin so far. There is a slim chance that Jayden Daniels is the key that finally unlocks Burks' full athletic potential at a consistent rate. However, it is currently more likely that Burks is used as a rotational No. 2 receiver alongside Luke McCaffrey and rookie Antonio Williams, depending on specific personnel packages. For managers in deep leagues, it is worth keeping tabs on Burks as the offseason progresses because of the intriguing upside he carries.--Wyatt McClintock
