Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz (hamstring) is set to have his scheduled MRI moved up three days to next Friday, June 12. The 24-year-old superstar has progressed so well that the team has deemed it appropriate to move the appointment up, which is encouraging news for fantasy managers. The examination will help the Reds determine the next steps in De La Cruz's recovery and, hopefully, provide some clarity on when he might be ready to return to the lineup.
