Week 6 Wide Receiver Rankings Outlooks
Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (illness), who was listed as questionable for Week 6 on Sunday after missing Friday's practice due to an illness, is expected to play against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, sources told Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports. Chase was feeling a little under the weather on Friday, but he should be fine to play in a couple of days, in what will be new quarterback Joe Flacco's starting debut in Cincinnati.
The 25-year-old Chase has had three quiet games and two 100-yard games so far in 2025. A 6-110-2 line in last week's loss to the Detroit Lions proves why Chase is still a must-start in fantasy despite quarterback Joe Burrow (toe) potentially being out for the rest of the year. It remains to be seen what kind of chemistry Chase will have with Flacco, but the veteran signal-caller figures to target him heavily.
Stefon Diggs, New England Patriots
New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been excellent lately, and he'll look to remain effective heading into Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints. Diggs has at least 100 yards in each of his last two games, including a phenomenal 10-catch, 146-yard performance against his old team, the Bills, last Sunday.
The veteran receiver started slow this season but has suddenly broken out in a huge way, cementing himself as Drake Maye's favorite target. In addition to his track record, Diggs is a strong fantasy option for this week because of his matchup. We should see him thrive if he runs most of his routes out wide, as New Orleans has allowed the fewest fantasy points to slot receivers but the 10th-most fantasy points to perimeter receivers. He's a low-end WR2 for the time being.
Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs is coming off by far his best game of the season in Week 4, with an awesome three-touchdown performance against the Dallas Cowboys. Doubs looks to keep that momentum going post-bye in Week 6 as the Packers host the Cincinnati Bengals. Week 4's final stat line against the Cowboys, aside from the touchdowns, was Doubs catching 6-of-8 targets for 58 yards.
On the season, Doubs is tied with tight end Tucker Kraft with 19 targets and is second to Kraft in receptions and yards. Despite the raw totals, Doubs is averaging less than five targets, just over three receptions, and 45 receiving yards per game. With bye weeks here for fantasy, Doubs is a little bit of a reach for fantasy lineups, but in a good matchup against the Bengals in Week 6, Doubs is merely a low-end flex option for fantasy managers.
