Darius Slayton Officially Ruled Out for Thursday Night
Darius Slayton (hamstring) has been ruled out for the Thursday night divisional game in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Dan Salomone of Giants.com. This was the expected result after Slayton injured his hamstring on Sunday in the Week 5 loss to the New Orleans Saints. He was unable to practice leading up to Thursday's game. The good news is that the 28-year-old will have extra time to get ready for a potential return in Week 7 against the Denver Broncos. Without Slayton in the fold in a tough matchup against Philly, Wan'Dale Robinson should be the favorite target of rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart in the passing game, with Jalin Hyatt and Beaux Collins also starting in three-wide sets. Tight ends Theo Johnson and Daniel Bellinger should also be more involved in the passing attack on Thursday.
