Drake Maye Ranked as QB1 Despite Facing Stingy Defense in Week 4
Drake Maye has performed well this season, but he'll face a tough test against the Carolina Panthers in Week 4. While Carolina isn't commonly viewed as a dominant team, their defense has been quite strong this year, especially against quarterbacks. In full, the Panthers have allowed the third-most interceptions, the fewest passing touchdowns, and the fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in 205. They have also allowed zero rushing touchdowns to the position, but on the flip side, they've registered just one sack. With all that being said, Maye himself has been solid, ranking as the overall QB7 so far while rushing for 87 yards. He isn't immune to ugly football -- last week, he had two costly turnovers in a loss to the Steelers -- but for the most part, he has looked quite impressive while making massive strides in his second pro season. RotoBaller's experts aren't worried about Maye's tough matchup, ranking him as the overall QB6 heading into Sunday's Week 4 contest.
