The Miami Marlins announced that they have activated outfielder Griffin Conine (shoulder) from the 60-day injured list. Conine is returning at the expense of outfielder Derek Hill (hamstring), whom the Marlins activated from the 10-day IL and designated for assignment. Expectations were that Conine would miss the rest of the 2025 campaign after he dislocated his shoulder in April and underwent surgery. However, after a successful recovery that included a nine-game rehab assignment, the 28-year-old will make it back for the final week of the regular season. Conine, the Marlins' starting right fielder on Opening Day, slashed .281/.352/.438 with a homer, seven RBI, and 10 runs scored over 20 games and 71 plate appearances before he suffered the injury.--Connor Byrne
