DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Ryan Bergert - KC at CWS ($7.2K DK/$8.5K FD)

Ryan Bergert performed extremely well in his last outing against the White Sox, and he gets another crack at them tonight. The White Sox have been relatively average this month with a wRC+ of 106 against RHP. They have the occasional pop in their bat, but are relatively low risk in this spot.

Bergert has had a few solid starts in his new home with the Royals, and the issue hasn't necessarily been on him, as the offense has been lackluster, preventing him from getting the win. He hasn't given up more than two runs in any of his starts with the Royals and has been extremely close to getting the Quality Start, finishing an out or two away from getting one in all four starts.

He has all the tools to make for a great start; he just needs to keep the walks to a minimum and just finish out that sixth inning where he has struggled the most. With some of the other guys above him, being in harder matchups, I like spending down a bit on this slate in the pitching department. That way, I have a bit more to run some more expensive hitters later!

Chase Dollander, COL at HOU ($5K DK/$6.3K FD)

Y'all are going to call me crazy for this one, but I think there is some decent value here in punting to Chase Dollander on this slate. I'm by no means expecting 30-40 FP points here, but he could get in the high 20s, and at his price, that isn't bad value at all.

The advantage here is that the Astros are sputtering at the moment; they have the third-worst wRC+ against RHP across the last two weeks at only 67 and a wOBA of .266. Dollander, in his last three away games, has put up 27, 22, and 25 FP, going at least five innings in all three of them and earning the Quality Start in two of them.

Dollander is sporting a respectable 3.95 ERA in away games, which is miles better than his 9.88 ERA in home games this season. If he can just make it through five innings and not give up too many runs, we could be looking at some decent value. Especially after seeing what Tanner Gordon did to the Astros last night.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Corey Seager, SS - TEX ($4.6K DK/$3.3K FD)

Seager hasn't had quite the year he or pretty much anyone was expecting, but he has shown flashes, including a big home run and two walks in last night's game against the Angels. He lines up against Tyler Anderson, who has been consistently one of the worst pitchers in the league.

Anderson has some interesting splits; he doesn't go against lefties often, but he has been crushed by them this season. He is sporting a .411 wOBA and a .609 SLG against LHH this season.

Seager hasn't been great, but he does have some solid power numbers against LHP this season. Seager is sporting a .440 SLG and a .216 ISO against LHP, so the power is there. If he can connect against Anderson, then we should be looking at some solid value in Seager.

Mark Vientos, 3B - NYM ($3K DK/$3K FD)

Mark Vientos might be one of the hottest hitters in MLB right now. He has 13 hits in his last nine games, including five home runs! He has been crushing the ball and now goes up against righty Taijuan Walker. Vientos is still relatively cheap as well, at only $3K on both sites. Vientos this month is hitting to the tune of a .391 wOBA and a .649 SLG, which is a big difference compared to previous months this season.

Walker hasn't been really particularly good against either side of the plate this season. RHH are sporting a .318 wOBA and a .429 SLG this season against him. The Mets have been red-hot this month, and going up against Walker, they should have no issue getting the home series sweep against the Phillies.

Andruw Monasterio, 2B/SS (DK), 3B/1B (FD Only) - MIL ($2.8K DK/$2.5K FD)

This is my cheap spot of the day. Monasterio has been hitting the ball extremely well recently; he has at least one hit in each of his last six games and has started to become an everyday guy for the Brewers. Monasterio also has two home runs in his last nine games, both of which came off RHP.

Ryne Nelson has been getting tormented by RHH this month, giving up 11 earned runs to them. The Brewers tend to be a more lefty-heavy lineup, but there are a few righties who can hit the ball well, and this is a great spot for them. Even though Monasterio tends to bat in the nine hole, I love his positional eligibility on FD, as he provides great value in multiple positions.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Riley Greene, OF - DET ($5.6K DK/$3.6K FD)

Is Riley Greene back? He looks to be with four home runs in his last nine games. He once again gets great hitting conditions here in Sacramento with the wind blowing directly out to center. He is up to 31 home runs on the season, with 28 of those coming off RHP. He has hit the ball extremely well in this series, getting four hits in the first two games.

Luis Morales has been solid to start his MLB career, but concerns remain about whether he can sustain it. He is due for some regression in this one with a significant difference in ERA vs. xERA. The Tiger lefties should be able to connect well here, and Greene won't be the only Tiger I have in my lineup.

Taylor Ward, OF - LAA ($4.4K DK/$3.3K FD)

Taylor Ward has had some solid outings recently and is hitting the ball well this year, especially against lefties, which he should be seeing the majority of work against with Jacob Latz likely being the bulk relief pitcher in this one.

Ward is hitting lefties to the tune of a .395 wOBA and a .593 SLG this season. Ward has 30 home runs so far this season, and although the majority have come against RHP, he has hit lefties much better in fewer PAs.

RHH has had a lot more success getting on base against Latz this season. Latz has a WHIP of 1.39 against RHH, and going against someone like Ward, who has been great at getting walks lately, this is going to be a big matchup for him. I'm not big on L.A. in this matchup, but I do like a few RHH to do well against the reliever.

Alec Burleson, OF/1B - STL ($4.3K DK/$3K FD)

Alec Burleson continues to swing a hot bat. He has 16 hits in his last nine games, including four multi-hit games. He will likely be going against a pair of righties in this one, as Carmen Mlodzinski will start this one off, and Bubba Chandler will take over from there.

Burleson has dominated RHP this season as he has a wOBA of .355 and a SLG of .472 against them. Chandler is a great rookie pitcher, but we will see what he is made of in a better matchup after getting a cupcake matchup in his first game against the Rockies.

Others To Consider:

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Milwaukee Brewers (Implied Run Total - 4.7) vs. Ryne Nelson

The Brew Crew gets a solid matchup against a mediocre pitcher in Nelson tonight. Nelson has been hit pretty hard recently. He has given up 12 runs between his last three outings. The Brewers have cooled off slightly, but still have the second-best wRC+ against RHP this month with a 138. Only the Mets have been better.

Favorite Combo: Yelich, Turang, Monasterio, Contreras

2. Detroit Tigers (Implied Run Total - 5.6) vs. Luis Morales

The Tigers came up with six runs in last night's outing, but fell short as they were walked off in the 10th inning. Morales has been great so far to start the season, but I'm skeptical how long that will last. His ERA is 1.72 on the season so far, but his xERA has him at 4.54. I'm expecting some regression, so why not take a shot here on the AL-leading Tigers in a game where the winds are pushing out to center at 11 mph!

Favorite Combo: Greene, McKinstry, Carpenter, Perez

3. New York Mets (Implied Run Total - 4.8) vs. Taijuan Walker

The Mets came up clutch in last night's win over the Phillies, as they showed up Jhoan Duran and walked him off in the ninth. They come into this one with a 4.8 IRT and get a mediocre pitcher in Walker. The Mets have been the best team in the league against RHP with a wRC+ of 141 this month. The Mets have won all five games at home this season against the Phillies, and they will look to finish the sweep off in tonight's game.

Favorite Combo: Alonso, Vientos, Soto, Lindor
