Top Hitter Streamers and Starts - Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 19 (August 4 - August 10)

Jordan Beck - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Dan's top hitter streamers and starts as fantasy baseball waiver wire adds for the remainder of Week 19 of 2025 (August 4 - August 10). He analyzes streamers with favorable matchups, schedules.

The large volume of players moving teams this week has naturally created some opportunities for some young players to step up and get more playing time on teams that were sellers at the deadline. Some of those guys will be featured in this piece today, along with some of the most readily available hitters in good form or with a favorable schedule for the week ahead.

Our hitter streamers fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify hitters with favorable matchups who can be considered waiver wire streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire runs for leagues with weekly transactions. Players who appear in this article will always be rostered in 40 percent or fewer leagues on Yahoo!

In this piece, every week, I'll look to find hitters playing in the most games and who have the most favorable matchups to help you plug those gaps and fill those holes in your roster. You can also check out the rest of our fantasy baseball streamer content here at RotoBaller. Let's see which hitters we should consider grabbing off the wire as we roll into Week 19 of the fantasy baseball season!

What Teams Offer the Most Streaming Value for Week 19?

While most MLB teams are playing six games this week, only four teams are playing seven.

Seven-Game Weeks

ATL, CIN, MIA, and PIT.

Ballpark Upgrades:

  • COL (3 games at home, 3 games at ARI)
  • TOR (3 games at COL, 3 games at LAD)

Week 19 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers

I'll recommend only players who are 40 percent rostered or lower, and all roster percentages are from Yahoo!

Andrew Vaughn, 1B - MIL (38% rostered)

This week's edition is loaded with Rockies and White Sox, and a former member of the ChiSox as the top add of the week - Andrew Vaughn.

Vaughn had another huge week, clubbing four more home runs and driving in 12 runs in his last seven starts. With Rhys Hoskins on the shelf, he's locked into the lineup every day at first base, and he's getting a ton of RBI opportunities as the Brewers' offense is red hot and piling up hits nightly.

Colson Montgomery, 3B/SS - CWS (25% rostered)

The rookie Montgomery ranks inside the top 10 on Yahoo! over the last two weeks, thanks to six home runs and 15 RBIs over that time.

If you had to be picky, you could say he's not hitting for a great average at just .244, but that's not that bad of a number to stomach when you're getting such awesome power and run production from a guy who is SS-eligible. He looks every bit the part of a rising star, and this is probably your last week to get in on the ground floor before he is rostered in most standard leagues.

Noelvi Marte, 3B - CIN (25% rostered)

I will continue to make the case for Marte as a toolsy, young player who I'm investing in for the second half. His production has been spotty at times, but he's got the power and speed combination we are looking for in fantasy.

He hit his seventh home run this week (in just 147 at-bats this season), which is as many homers as he hit in 2023 and 2024 combined (in 343 at-bats).

Marte has also moved up in the lineup lately, hitting fifth, second, and cleanup in his last three starts. The Reds play seven games this week, with three of those games at Wrigley, which can be a great hitters' park if the weather and wind are favorable.

Mickey Moniak, OF - COL (23% rostered)

Another week of me begging you to pick up Mickey Moniak! Are you surprised?

He didn't hit any home runs this week, but we continue to see him improve his contact and on-base results. He's gone 2-5 in each of his last two games and led off yesterday for Colorado after batting ninth the day before.

Wherever he is in the lineup, Moniak has proven over the last month and a half that he's not a fluke. He should face all RHP in the upcoming series at home against the Blue Jays.

Warming Bernabel, 1B/3B - COL (22% rostered)

This guy has come out of virtually nowhere to help jumpstart the Colorado offense. Bernabel was hitting .301 at Triple-A before getting called up, but had just eight home runs in 75 games.

He's already slugged three home runs in his first seven games and is hitting .500 across his first 28 at-bats. This could be a Rece Hinds situation where he just has an incredibly hot start only to fade into oblivion, but I think he should be picked up in case he's the real deal. The power numbers are probably not sustainable, but if he can hit for average and drive in runs while hitting in the middle of the lineup, he has some staying power.

Nolan Schanuel, 1B - LAA (21% rostered)

Schanuel is another familiar name if you have been following this piece all year. He's hit his way onto my rosters more than a few times this season, and he's quietly doing it again - hitting .304 over the last two weeks with a home run, five RBI, and a steal.

Schanuel is a boring fantasy player and isn't going to help much with power numbers like a traditional first baseman, but he can hit for average and is a sneaky good producer in runs (51).

Jordan Beck, OF - COL (18% rostered)

Three Rockies in a row - BINGO! I'm sorry, but there is nothing but opportunity here for some very talented young players, and Beck (who has made appearances in this column multiple times already this season) has made his way back onto my radar with a strong week that included two homers, five RBI, four runs scored, and a stolen base.

He's inside the top 100 over the last two weeks on Yahoo! He's run extremely hot and cold in his rookie season, but perhaps we are catching him on the upswing here again.

Lenyn Sosa, 1B/2B/3B - CWS (15% rostered)

Miguel Vargas is hurt at the moment, which could open up more playing time for Sosa, who is already playing just about every day. He's been hot this week, collecting multiple hits in four games while clubbing two homers and driving in six runs.

Sosa has been better than a lot of folks probably realize this season. He's hitting .281 with 11 home runs and is eligible at three infield positions. The White Sox have been one of the hottest offenses in the league in the second half, so adding some sneaky Chicago bats makes a lot of sense if we want to keep riding the hot bats.

Week 19 Deeper League Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers to Consider

Some widely available hitters (under 10 percent rostered) could be worth a look this week.

Good luck this week, and choose those streaming options wisely! Thanks for making RotoBaller your one-stop shop for all things fantasy baseball!
