Michael Taylor Drives in Four Runs on Tuesday
Michael Taylor was an RBI machine on Tuesday as the White Sox defeated the Detroit Tigers 8-1 to win Game 2 of their three-game set. On the evening, Taylor went 1-for-2 with four RBI, two runs scored, two walks, and a home run. The home run was his third of the season, and it came in a significant moment in the sixth inning with two on and two out to extend the White Sox's lead from 1-0 to 4-0. He also stole a base, which was his seventh of the season. Taylor is now slashing .206/.277/.374 on the season but has picked up a couple of hits in his last few games. For now, Taylor should remain on the waiver wire, as he doesn't get consistent playing time and had minimal production thus far in 2025.
