Fantasy Football Injury Reports For Week 10 (Friday Updates): Christian McCaffrey, Drake London, Brian Robinson Jr., Nico Collins, more

Christian McCaffrey - Fantasy Football Rankings, DFS and Betting Picks, NFL Injury News

Fantasy football injury updates and injury reports for RB, WR, TE, QB for Week 10 (2024), as of 11/8, including Christian McCaffrey, Drake London, Brian Robinson, Nico Collins and more.

We are now beyond the halfway point of both the NFL and fantasy season. As has been the norm this year, there are plenty of injuries to top fantasy players at every position. Some remain out for the foreseeable future, some are potentially playing through injury, and some are potentially returning from injury at just the right time for fantasy managers.

A few of those aforementioned top players on the Friday injury report this week are Christian McCaffrey, Drake London, Brian Robinson Jr., and Nico Collins. Those are just some of the many injured players to keep an eye on before this weekend's games.

To keep close tabs on all of the news across the NFL, make sure to favorite or bookmark the fantasy football player news page, or download the free RotoBaller fantasy football mobile app with push notification alerts on all the latest news. Let's look at the updates for some top fantasy assets at all positions and see whether they may play in Week 10.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Christian McCaffrey Injury Update

San Francisco 49ers running back (achillies) is expected return from injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being on IR since the start of the season. Many fantasy managers will be hoping the veteran running back can save their season after drafting him at the top of fantasy drafts.

Deebo Samuel Sr. is still questionable, but Jordan Mason and Jauan Jennings are fully cleared. All three players along with McCaffrey have potential for fantasy success in a great matchup with a weak Buccaneers defense.

Drake London Injury Update

Atlanta Falcons receiver Drake London (hip) is officially questionable for Sunday's matchup with the New Orleans Saints. London has been one of the top receivers in fantasy this season with Kirk Cousins at the helm, so him missing out would be a huge loss. In his absence, Darnell Mooney would be the primary benefactor, with him becoming the top option in the passing game.

London missed out on the final three quarters after hurting his hip last week, and after limited practices all week, it seems like he should play, but nothing is certain at this point. Fantasy managers should keep an eye closely on his status before Sunday afternoon.

Brian Robinson Jr. Injury Update

Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) has been downgraded to being out for Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Once again, Austin Ekeler, Chris Rodriguez Jr., and Jeremy McNichols should all be involved out of the backfield.

Ekeler is the top fantasy option, putting up 11 carries for 42 yards and a touchdown along with three catches for 41 yards. R0driguez Jr. did also have 11 carries of his own, but even if Ekeler is limited with the carries he gets, he should be heavily involved in the passing game. That could especially apply against a tougher opponent than the New York Giants.

Nico Collins and Tank Dell Injury Update

Houston Texans wide receivers Nico Collins (hamstring) and Tank Dell (back) are both officially questionable for this week's matchup with the Detroit Lions. Each was limited at Friday's practice, with Dell being the more likely of the two to play.

After being out since leaving early in Week 5, Collins was designated to return from IR today. While it's a little concerning it took until Friday for that to happen, he at least seems to have a chance return, especially after appearing at practice. Dell is a last minute addition to the injury report, but no reports seem to be suggesting fantasy managers should be concerned.

Chris Olave Injury Update

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (concussion) has been officially ruled out for this week against the Atlanta Falcons. Olave suffered the concussion and had to be stretchered off the field last week. Olave seemed primed to have a good rest of the season with Derek Carr finally back, but unfortunately he has dealt with numerous injuries.

Given how hard the hit was and overall reaction afterwards, it wouldn't be surprising if Olave misses more games beyond this week, especially for a Saints team who just fired their coach and hasn't won since Week 2.

Brian Thomas Jr. Injury Update

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (chest) is officially questionable for Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings. He suffered the injury back in Week 8. He was originally expected to miss multiple weeks, but the rookie played through this chest injury last week against the Eagles.

He only put up two catches for 22 yards in a rough passing day for Trevor Lawrence, so expectations should be tempered. With both Tank Bigsby and Travis Etienne Jr. off the injury report and Lawrence expected to miss this week, even if Thomas Jr. once again plays through injury, it's hard to imagine him having much success against a Brian Flores blitz-heavy defense.

Amari Cooper and Keon Coleman Injury Update

Buffalo Bills wide receivers Amari Cooper (wrist) and Keon Coleman (wrist) are both dealing with wrist injuries for this week's matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. Cooper has been eased into the gameplan since arriving from the Cleveland Browns, and Coleman has been great during that time. However, with Coleman out for this week. It seems like it's time for Cooper to be unleashed, as long as he is able to play through the injury.

Khalil Shakir seems like the biggest winner through all of this in a great matchup with the Colts. He should be peppered with targets even more than usual, which makes him a great fantasy asset this week, especially in PPR leagues.

Dak Prescott Injury Update

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring), has been officially placed on injured reserve as of today. It's uncertain whether he will only miss the minimum four weeks or the rest of the season.

This injury is a big hit to the Cowboys offense, with CeeDee Lamb likely being the only somewhat trustworthy fantasy option for the rest of the season. However, fantasy managers should be worried given what happened to the Dolphins offense earlier this season when Tua Tagovailoa missed time due to a concussion.
