Raheem Mostert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 8 (2024). Should you start or sit Raheem Mostert for fantasy football lineups in Week 8?
BALLER MOVE: Sit in all formats until we see Miami's offense back in the groove
POSITIONAL VALUE: High-end RB3
ANALYSIS: After lighting up the NFL in 2023 with over 1,000 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns, Mostert has been slow out of the gate. Injuries caused him to miss three games, he's competing for touches alongside De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright, and to top it off, Miami's starting quarterback has been out since Week 2 and the Dolphins have skidded to a 2-5 start. Ouch.
Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert said teammates have spoken to Tua, and he knows he has to protect himself on the field — but it’s ultimately up to Tua to do so

All of the Dolphins skill players was basically rendered useless without their starting quarterback, but the good news is Tua Tagovailoa is returning in Week 8 to play against the Arizona Cardinals in what could be a juicy matchup, but it's fair to question just how rusty the unit might look.
You're better off leaving Mostert on your bench unless you're really hurting at running back this week.
