Sem Robberse is a fantasy baseball dynasty waiver wire pickup for Week 10 (2024). Read about Sem Robberse's season to date.
PROSPECT: Sem Robberse, RHP, St. Louis Cardinals
ERIC CROSS' LATEST PROSPECT RANKING: N/A
CALL-UP ETA: 2024
ANALYSIS: St. Louis Cardinals' No. 12 prospect Sem Robberse continues to pitch well in the minors. Robberse originally signed with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2019 out of the Netherlands. The right-hander then went on to play three and a half years in the Blue Jays' system in 2019, 2021, 2022, and part of the 2023 season, where he had a combined 3.13 ERA between rookie ball, Single-A, High-A, and Double-A.
However, he was dealt at the 2023 Trade Deadline in the Jordan Hicks trade. Now, he is on the verge of potentially being called up to make his major league debut at some point in 2024. Robberse currently owns a 3.29 ERA and 53 strikeouts across nine starts at Triple-A. The right-hander is also holding opposing hitters to a .210 average this season, which is the lowest of his minor league career.
Sem Robberse’s final line:
8 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 9 K
Robberse has unlocked another gear by lowering his FF usage. He has a 1.59 ERA in 22.2 IP this season. Robberse induced 17 total whiffs tonight (CH: 8, SL: 6, FC: 3). He used all 4 of his pitches at least 21% of time. pic.twitter.com/nTw3IDCyZh

Robberse has shown a lot of improvement on the mound to begin the 2024 season, and he could make his debut sooner rather than later. Nonetheless, he isn't necessarily someone to stash in dynasty formats right now.
