Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Baseball Pickups: Christian Scott, Kyle Manzardo, Daniel Hudson, Trevor Megill, Jonny DeLuca, more

Kyle Manzardo - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Prospects Waiver Wire, Draft Sleepers

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 7 (2024). Free-agent hitters and pitchers to add include Christian Scott, Kyle Manzardo, Daniel Hudson, Trevor Megill, and Johnny DeLuca.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to our mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings list for Week 7 -- May 6 through May 12 -- to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves. Top prospects such as Paul Skenes, Kyle Manzardo, Christian Scott, Robert Gasser, and Jack Leiter have recently been promoted to the majors. Other top prospects, such as Coby Mayo, James Wood, Jackson Holliday, Junior Caminero, and Cade Horton, patiently await the call to the big leagues.

Some notable recent performances and injury notes include New York Mets rookie right-hander Christian Scott, who dazzled in his MLB debut last week. Scott allowed one run on five hits and one walk while striking out six over 6 2/3 innings in the first big league start against the Tampa Bay Rays. Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Daniel Hudson collected his second save of the season on Wednesday and is expected to be the team's primary closer with Evan Phillips on the injured list. Washington Nationals outfielder Jacob Young has been heating up at the plate recently, slashing .343/.425/.457 with 13 runs and six stolen bases over his last 11 games. Injuries continue to pile up as fantasy managers will need to replace Evan Phillips, Christian Encarnacion-Strand, Jorge Soler, Ryan Pepiot, Dane Dunning, and Edward Cabrera, who were all recently placed on the injured list.

This edition features players such as Christian Scott, Kyle Manzardo, Daniel Hudson, Trevor Megill, Jonny DeLuca, Tyler Nevin, Taj Bradley, Jack Leiter, Simeon Woods Richardson, Abraham Toro, and Michael Massey. We're here, as always, to help you stay on top of the latest waiver wire options, especially in leagues that allow for daily moves. Prospects that are making impacts continue to be called up, so you'll need to be informed. Be sure to stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

For anyone unfamiliar, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free-agent adds off waivers. I will be pinch-hitting for Nick over the next few weeks.

In addition, we are also putting out a second waiver wire rankings list mid-week. Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver wire moves or multiple waiver wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday.

This article will guide you with our weekly ranking for the relevant waiver wire pickup options, including how to prioritize them for your league (depending on the league size). Roster % is from Yahoo leagues.
