The top MLB DFS daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on April 10, 2024. Mike Barner's MLB DFS sleepers picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

There will be a lot of early start times across baseball Wednesday. That leaves us with a modest seven-game evening slate on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/10/2024, with the slate starting at 6:40 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Marcus Stroman vs. Marlins ($9,600 DraftKings; $10,100 FanDuel)

The Yankees haven’t received a lot of innings from their starting pitchers in the early going. The exception has been Stroman, who logged six innings in both of his first two starts. He gave up three unearned runs to the Astros in his first outing, then held the Blue Jays scoreless in his last start. He also has 10 strikeouts over his 12 total innings. A great matchup awaits him in the Marlins, who have averaged just 3.5 runs per game.

Cody Bradford vs. Athletics ($9,000 DraftKings; $8,600 FanDuel)

Bradford had home run issues last season, giving up 11 of them over 56 innings. It’s what contributed to his 5.30 ERA, despite a more than respectable 1.21 WHIP. He has been taken deep just one time over 12.2 innings this season, allowing a total of three runs along the way. The Athletics have only hit 11 home runs as a team this season, so Bradford has the potential to produce another valuable stat line.

Seth Lugo vs. Athletics ($8,400 DraftKings; $8,400 FanDuel)

Stroman and Bradford stand out as the two best options for this slate based on their matchups. Lugo doesn’t have an easy one against the Astros, although he will at least be playing at home. Lugo has looked sharp over his first two starts, allowing a total of just one run over 12.2 innings. Last season, he produced a 3.57 ERA that was supported by a 3.38 FIP.

Also consider: Dylan Cease vs. CHC

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Corey Seager - SS, TEX vs. Ross Stripling ($6,000 DK; $3,700 FD)

Stripling pitched well against the Red Sox in his last start, giving up just one run over seven innings. However, he allowed five runs (four earned) over five innings in his first start against the Guardians. Last season, he produced a 5.36 ERA that was backed by a 5.21 FIP. Expect him to have a difficult time retiring Seager, who has posted a 167 wRC+ out of the gate.

Anthony Volpe - SS, NYY vs. Ryan Weathers ($4,400 DK; $3,300 FD)

Talk about a hot start. Volpe is mashing right now, posting a .225 ISO and a .458 wOBA. One of the key reasons for his success has been an improved eye at the plate. Last season, he finished with a 27.8 percent strikeout rate and an 8.7 percent walk rate. This year, he has a 19.6 percent strikeout rate and a 10.9 percent walk rate. He certainly won’t be facing an overwhelming force in Weathers, who has a 1.53 WHIP for his career.

Jake Cronenworth – 1B/2B, SD vs. Kyle Hendricks ($3,600 DK; $2,900 FD)

Hendricks is not an overpowering force. For his career, he has a 19.7 percent strikeout rate. When he doesn’t have excellent control, things can get ugly for him in a hurry. That has been the case so far this season, with him allowing 10 runs and issuing four walks over his first 7.2 innings. This could be an opportune matchup to take a chance on Cronenworth, who only has a 17.1 percent strikeout rate for his career.

Also consider: Austin Riley, Ozzie Albies

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Aaron Judge - OF, NYY vs. Ryan Weathers ($6,200 DK; $4,100 FD)

Weathers not only allows too many base runners, but he also has problems keeping hitters inside the ballpark. In 165 career innings, he has been taken deep 33 times. Judge is off to a quiet start in the power department with only two home runs, but this might be just the matchup that he needs to thrive at the plate.

Tyler O’Neill - OF, BOS vs. Cole Irvin ($4,800 DK; $3,600 FD)

O’Neill is off to an excellent start, posting a .565 wOBA and a .563 ISO. He has hit six home runs, although each of them has been a solo shot. He’s not going to bat .344 over the course of the entire season, but it’s encouraging that he has a 19.5 percent strikeout rate so far. For his career, he has a 29.8 percent strikeout rate. He could do plenty of damage against Irvin, who gave up 11 home runs over 77.1 innings last season. Of those 11 home runs, 10 were hit by righties.

Evan Carter - OF, TEX vs. Ross Stripling ($4,300 DK; $3,000 FD)

There is no need to panic about Carter’s slow start. He hasn’t been making a lot of hard contact, but he’s still been unlucky with a .185 BABIP. He has shown an excellent eye at the plate, posting a 20.9 percent walk rate and an 11.6 percent strikeout rate. For those who can’t fit Seager and his expensive salary into their lineup, Carter is another way to try and exploit the Rangers’ matchup with Stripling.

Also consider: Ronald Acuna Jr., Juan Soto, Marcell Ozuna
