Keaton Mitchell's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 14 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Keaton Mitchell for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Upside FLEX/RB3
ANALYSIS: The Baltimore Ravens backfield has been tough to predict ever since Keaton Mitchell joined the rotation in Week 7. Although the rookie back didn't log a carry in his first week in uniform, he's been part of the mix in four of the last five games.
Mitchell is coming off a Week 12 performance against the Los Angeles Chargers where he racked up 64 yards on nine carries and two catches for 25 yards. His 89 scrimmage yards led the Ravens backfield and were the most since he amassed 134 yards and a touchdown back in Week 8.
At this point, it is clear that Mitchell will revive a regular workload. He has had at least eight carries in three of the five games he's played, and he's seen at least one target in every game. He's led the backfield in snaps in Week 12 as he was on the field for 46% of offensive plays. Gus Edwards (27%) and Justice Hill (28%) saw considerably less playing time.
Mitchell and the Ravens get the Rams in Week 14 who have allowed the 17th most rush yards per game and six total TD's to running backs this season. It's a tough matchup, but Mitchell will get touches so he has some flex appear. He is 22nd in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
