C.J. Stroud's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit C.J. Stroud for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB1
ANALYSIS: Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud passed for 300 yards for the fifth time this season in Week 11. He finished the day against the Arizona Cardinals with 336 passing yards and two touchdowns. Stroud has been on a tear as of late, starting with his record-breaking performance in Week 9 when he threw for 470 yards and five touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Over the last three weeks, he has thrown for 1,162 yards and his name is now being thrown around not only as a potential rookie of the year but as the league MVP as well.
In Week 12, Stroud will face the Jacksonville Jaguars who have given up the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season and have allowed the sixth-most passing yards. Recent breakout Noah Brown (knee) will be out but fellow wide receivers Nico Collins and Tank Dell have put up gaudy numbers of their own. The Texans are likely to air it out as they try to pull even with the Jaguars at the top of the AFC South, making Stroud a must-start.
