DeVonta Smith fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit DeVonta Smith for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: After a few subpar performances, DeVonta Smith is starting to heat up. The Philadelphia Eagles wideout caught all seven of his targets for 99 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 at Washington. He followed up that performance in Week 9 by catching all three of his targets for 51 yards and a touchdown against Dallas.
In Week 11, Smith and the Eagles will face the Kansas City Chiefs. Last year in Super Bowl LVII, Smith caught seven of nine targets for 100 yards.
The Philadelphia offense has been firing on all cylinders of late, scoring 97 points over the last three games. Although the Chiefs' defense has effectively shut down their opponent's passing games -- they held the Dolphins to 193 receiving yards -- they haven't played an offense like the Eagles.
Through nine games, the Eagles have the fifth-best offense in the league, averaging 376.8 yards and 28 points per game. With the Chiefs expected to focus their efforts on shutting down A.J. Brown, there will be an opportunity for Smith to have a big day. Smith should be considered a strong WR2 play this week.
