DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/3/23): MLB DFS Lineups

Eury Perez - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on June 3, 2023. Joshua's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We had a massive 13-game main slate on Friday. I hope you made the correct lineup decisions for that slate. Saturdays are typically a bit lighter, so let's get to the picks without further ado!

This article contains my picks for the 8-game main slate on Saturday, June 3, 2023, for both DraftKings and FanDuel, which locks at 4:05 PM ET.

The lineup picks will range from some elite, high-priced players to mid-priced options and value plays. I'll give you a few of my top pitching options and then some infielders, outfielders, and teams to stack. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Cristian Javier, HOU vs. LAA ($10,600 DK, $10,800 FD)

Cristian Javier is one of the slate's most expensive pitching options, for good reason. Javier has been a reliable starter in the Astros rotation, allowing more than three earned runs only once in 11 starts. The right-hander is one of the game's most successful fly ball pitchers, inducing fly balls 54.2% of the time while maintaining a 10% HR/FB. Most of the Angels lineup has not succeeded much against Javier, except for Shohei Ohtani. Ohtani has two home runs in 16 at-bats against Javier. As long as the 26-year-old can find a way to get Ohtani out or limit his damage, Javier should be in for another solid outing. In a slate where I do not love the pitching options, I am willing to pay up for Javier.

Eury Perez, MIA vs. OAK ($8,700 DK, $9,300 FD)

Miami Marlins top prospect Eury Perez has yet to put it all together in a major league outing. The strikeouts were there for him in his first two starts, but the 20-year-old only has six strikeouts in his last 9 1/3 innings pitched. The main reason to get excited about Perez is his opponent. The Oakland Athletics have been the worst team in major league baseball, and I don't see that changing any time soon. The A's are one of two baseball teams with less than 20 wins this season. Pitching at home against a bad team seems the perfect time for Perez to have his best outing of the season.

Others to consider: Andrew Heaney, TEX vs. SEA ($8,800 DK, $9,800 FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Nathaniel Lowe - 1B, TEX vs. SEA ($4,700 DK, $3,300 FD)

Lowe has consistently been one of baseball's most underrated hitters for some time now. Coming off a hot month of May where he had hits in all but five games, Lowe faces rookie right-hander Bryan Woo at Globe Life Field. The experienced first baseman should be able to find success against Woo.

Matt McLain - SS, CIN vs. MIL ($4,500 DK, $3,400 FD)

Cincinnati Reds shortstop prospect Matt McLain was promoted to the bigs and immediately started producing. In his first 15 games, McLain has slashed .329/.390/.486 with two home runs, five doubles, and nine RBI. The shortstop had hit safely in 10 straight games before going 0-for-5 on Friday.

McLain will look to bounce back against Colin Rea, who owns a 4.89 ERA. McLain can continue his hot streak in the hitter-friendly environment of Great American Ballpark.

Jeff McNeil - 2B/OF, NYM vs. TOR ($3,700 DK, $2,700 FD)

McNeil is an experienced hitter in his home ballpark against a right-handed pitcher. In his career, McNeil has hit .310 against right-handed pitching and .313 at home. This pick hinges on whether we get the good or bad Berrios, but McNeil should be a safe value pick allowing you to pay up elsewhere.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Adolis Garcia - OF, TEX vs. SEA ($5,600 DK, $3,700 FD)

Adolis Garcia is one of the higher-end options for the slate because he has been one of the most productive batters this season, and his matchup against Bryan Woo should not slow him down. Garcia has 14 home runs and 49 RBI through 54 games this season. The game being played at Globe Life Field also helps as it is the only stadium where Garcia has more than five home runs in his career.

Randal Grichuk - OF, COL vs. KC ($4,000 DK, $3,200 FD)

Grichuk is typically known for his moderate power output, but he is hitting for average this season. It would've been easier if this game was played at Coors Field, but Grichuk is performing well enough to overcome that. The power has yet to emerge for the 31-year-old, but his xSLG and HardHit% align with his career averages, so it will likely come sooner than later. I think that Grichuk is an excellent value at his price.

Whit Merrifield - 2B/OF, TOR vs. NYM ($3,900 DK, $3,100 FD)

Whit Merrifield is not the biggest or best bat on the team, but he finds a way to hit for average. This season, the 34-year-old is slashing .295/.345/.388 with two home runs and 21 RBI.

Merrifield might not hit it out of the park every night, but he can be counted on for singles and steals. Merrifield is a solid floor play allowing you to pay for a ceiling player.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

Texas Rangers vs. Bryan Woo

The Seattle Mariners recalled prospect Bryan Woo to start in place of the injured Marco Gonzales. Woo has a solid minor league track record with good strikeout rates, but this lineup is a tough test. The Texas Rangers have the highest run differential in baseball at +133. The Rangers also have the most runs scored in baseball. Woo has never pitched above Double-A and may struggle to compete against one of the best offenses in the league.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Tylor Megill

Tylor Megill has struggled to begin the season, carrying a 4.67 ERA through 54 innings pitched. Megill has also given up three or more earned runs and multiple walks in most of his starts this year. The 27-year-old also has the lowest K/9 of his career in 2023. The Blue Jays lineup is dangerous, as proven by their 20-run outburst last week, and fully capable of lighting up Megill. Brandon Belt is also batting .429 with two home runs against Tylor Megill.

Also consider: Cincinnati Reds vs. Colin Rea
