DraftKings And FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/27/23): NBA DFS Lineups

Isaiah Stewart - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Rankings, Injury News - rotoballer icon

NBA DFS sleepers and values plays for DraftKings and FanDuel on March 27, 2023. Juan Carlos Blanco gives you his top NBA DFS picks and lineup targets.

We're primed for a big eight-game late-season slate Monday night that features six contests with projected totals of more than 228 points.

There are a couple of especially large favorites in the Bucks and the    but the majority of games sport spreads of 6.5 points or less. There are also plenty of appealing individual matchups on the ledger, which should make for an entertaining night of lineup construction.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the respective main slates on DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/27/23. Remember to monitor the NBA injury report as the slate can completely change before lineups lock, which is at 7:00 pm ET. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

CJ McCollum - PG/SG, NOP at POR ($8,200 DK, $8,300 FD)

McCollum is averaging over 40 fantasy points in three games against the Trail Blazers this season, and he'll alsmost certainly be facing a depleted version of his old squad's backcourt Monday.

Portland may shut down Damian Lillard going forward and will very likely continue without Anferenee Simons (foot) on Monday as well, meaning McCollum could be in a position to pay off his very reasonable salaries handsomely. The Blazers also check in allowing the sixth-highest offensive efficiency rating to point guards (28.4) and over 50 fantasy points per game to ones in the last 15.

Tyrese Maxey - PG/SG, PHI at DEN ($7,700 DK, $7,700 FD)

Maxey has been at his most productive on the road this season, averaging 33.6 DK points per contest while shooting 50.8 percent, including 47.0 percent from three-point range, across 28 games. He also checks in with a hot hand, averaging 41.2 FD points on the strength of 26.4 points, 5.0 assists and 4.6 rebounds per contest, as well as 54.9 percent shooting, including 51.2 percent from distance.

James Harden (Achilles) could well remain out Monday, which would open up the opportunity for a continued bump in usage for Maxey, as well as the chance to operate as the primary ball handler. If that indeed comes to pass, it's worth noting Denver is allowing the fourth-highest offensive efficiency to point guards (28.5), along with just over 50 DK points and 49 FD points per game to ones.

Bones Hyland - PG, LAC vs. CHI ($5,000 DK, $6,000 FD)

Hyland has made excellent use of his opportunities the last two games while helping fill in for the absence of Paul George (leg), averaging 17.0 points, 7.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 52.0 percent, including 46.7 percent from three-point range. The second-year guard has averaged a solid 25.0 minutes off the bench in those contests as well, giving his role a solid floor.

The Bulls have allowed 46.1 percent shooting to second-unit players, and 36.7 percent three-point shooting to point guards specifically. With Hyland having shown an ability to deliver strong returns on his current salaries and having a cumulative rest advantage on many other players trying to defend him at this point in the season thanks to having been idle for long stretches, he makes for an intriguing tournament value play.

ALSO CONSIDER: Chris Paul - PG, PHX at UTA ($7,400 DK, $7,800 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Kawhi Leonard - SF/PF, LAC vs. CHI ($10,100 DK, $10,300 FD)

Leonard is fully expected to play through his probable designation Monday and is already boasting a 30.8 percent usage rate and averaging 46.8 DK/47 FD points per 36 minutes without George on the floor. Leonard has been at his best at home this season as well, averaging 42.3 DK points per contest and shooting 52.3 percent, including 42.9 percent from three-point range.

Leonard scored 60.5 DK/65.3 FD points in his one prior meeting against the Bulls as well, and with the expectation that he'll be locked into an expanded role once again in a key game for both teams should help ensure he delivers a particularly strong return on salary against Chicago for the second time this season.

Kevin Huerter - SF/PF, MIN at SAC ($6,700 DK, $6,800 FD)

Huerter has been beyond locked in over the last two games, averaging 28.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 51.3 percent. The emerging two-guard has shot 47.1 percent, including 38.1 percent from behind the arc, in three games against Minnesota.

The Timberwolves come in ranked No. 18 in offensive efficiency rating allowed to two-guards (23.1) and are allowing an elevated 39.5 percent success rate from three-point range to the position. Minnesota is also surrendering over 42 DK and over 41 FD points per game to the position, and Huerter is averaging 30.4 DK points per contest at home this season.

Terrence Ross - SF/SG, PHX at UTA ($4,100 DK, $4,900 FD)

Ross is a viable large-field tournament play Monday on the large slate, considering his ability to blow past his current salaries. The veteran wing, who's always been a bit of a streaky shooter, also comes in running hot, as he's shot 60.7 percent, including 50.0 percent from three-point range, over the last two games while putting up 22.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest.

The Jazz have been vulnerable to wing players all season and are allowing 36.6 percent three-point shooting overall, including 38.1 percent from behind the arc. Utah is also ranked in the bottom half of the league in offensive efficiency rating allowed to second-unit players (41.4), and Ross could easily deliver a strong return on his very modest salaries if he even approximates the level of play he's exhibited the last pair of contests.

ALSO CONSIDER: Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN at SAC ($8,300 DK, $8,300 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers  - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Nikola Vucevic - CHI at LAC ($8,500 DK, $8,800 FD)

Vucevic was ejected from Sunday's game against the Lakers after only 15 minutes on the floor, so he shouldn't be very fatigued for Monday's contest. Prior to that abbreviated outing, the big man had averaged over 40 fantasy points per contest in the previous nine games on the strength of 17.9 points, 11.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.3 steals.

The Clippers are allowing the 12th-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (32.2), along with 58 DK/57 FD points per game to the position in the last 15 contests. Vucevic also scored 53.5 DK/51.8 FD points in his one prior meeting with the Clips this season, furthering his case.

Brook Lopez -  MIL at DET ($6,400 DK, $7,600 FD)

Lopez is averaging 32.3 DK points per contest in three previous games against the Pistons this season, and he's also put some spike performances recently. He blocked seven shots against the Jazz two games ago on his way to 53 DK/56.8 FD points, and he'd been over 40 fantasy points on both sites in six of the previous seven games as well.

Detroit continues to be a good target as well, considering the Pistons are allowing the fourth-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (35.3), as well as 60.4 DK/63.6 FD points per contest to the position in the last seven games. And, consider the Pistons are also tied for third-most blocks per contest yielded (5.6), certainly a relevant stat when considering Lopez's rim-protecting capabilities.

ALSO CONSIDER: Jonas Valanciunas - NOP at POR ($7,900 DK, $8,100 FD); Mitchell Robinson -  NYK vs. HOU ($4,800 DK, $5,800 FD)
