We have a dozen games going on (for DraftKings purposes, anyway) on our Tuesday night. The early tip gives us Penn State heading east to Piscataway. 7 pm brings Missouri down to Oxford to take on the Rebels. We have LSU heading up to Fayetteville to go Hog hunting. Ohio State heads to Champaign to take on the Illini. DePaul heads to D.C. to take on Georgetown. Miami heads up to the panhandle to take on the Seminoles. The last tip in this frame is Notre Dame in Raleigh.
There is only one 8 pm tip. That sees Oklahoma taking their losing ways down to Fort Worth to take on Super-duper Toad that just destroyed Kansas in the Phog. We close this out with four 9 pm tips. We have Kentucky in Nashville to take on the Commodores. North Carolina is in the Loud House to take on Syracuse. Big 12(10)-leading K-State heads up to Ames to take on the Cyclones. We also have the Pokes down in Austin to take on Bevo. This is going to be fun!

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
Markquis Nowell, Kansas State ($9,800)
Like magic, Nowell heads to the stripe 10 times and his output goes back over 40 DraftKings points. It's not quite that simple, but Texas Tech couldn't clamp down on Nowell the way Kansas did. Few teams can, and I don't think Iowa State is one of those either. A low-scoring game hurts Pickett worse than Nowell, so if I'm paying up at guard, it will be for Nowell.
Joe Girard III, Syracuse ($8,000)
Girard has scored 20 or more points in four of six January games for the Orange. His floor is just low enough to scare me, but not many guys priced in this range are getting halfway to 40 DraftKings points on scoring alone. Girard plays a ton of minutes and the offense runs through him. He might burn you, but I don't think it will be against a team like North Carolina. They'll get out there and run too.
Tyrin Lawrence, Vanderbilt ($5,900)
The loss of the electric scoring of Liam Robbins is a big blow for Vanderbilt, so the emergence of Lawrence is big for the Commodores right now. Lawrence was seeing an uptick in minutes before Robbins went down anyway. Now he should be above 30 every game. He hasn't been all that efficient most of the year, but as long as the volume is there, I'll use him in GPPs.
Woody Newton, Oklahoma State ($4,800)
The Cowboys needed a spark and they have gotten that from Newton. The secret is out now. DraftKings raised his price by $1,100 since his third straight game of more than 20 DraftKings points on Saturday. Newton has provided 28 points, 17 rebounds, three steals, two blocks, and two assists in just 63 minutes over his last three games. The minutes are up and Newton is still knocking down shots. He's my favorite value play once again even though his price keeps climbing.

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($10,600)
There is no wrong answer between Bacot and Tshiebwe. However, Tshiebwe has burned us twice in the last five games because of foul trouble. However, in one of those other three, he put up one of the higher DraftKings points totals that I have ever seen in the college game. On the other hand, Bacot has three straight double-doubles (and a UNC-record 61 overall) and has only burned us in the Virginia game in which he got injured in the second minute. So, whenever these two are on the same slate, I run Bacot in cash and Tshiebwe and GPP formats and make one lineup with both. That's really the only way to answer a question that has two right answers unless one has a significant advantage in caliber of opponent. Neither does tonight.
Norchad Omier, Miami ($8,600)
Omier missed out on his fourth straight double-double by just one point against Duke on Saturday. He still posted at least 33 DraftKings points in his fourth straight thanks to his work on defense. Omier doesn't have the massive upside of the five-figure guys, but his floor and the $2,000 savings provide a great way to get different in GPP lineups.
Osun Osunniyi, Iowa State ($5,900)
It took Osunniyi a few games, but he is starting to get more aggressive on the offensive end, and with Aljaz Kunc still out, the Cyclones need it. Osunniyi has scored 40 points in the last three games while still adding his customary strong rebound totals and borderline elite rim protection. Oh, and those three games were against Kansas, Oklahoma State, and Texas, so I believe this kind of production is sustainable.
Jayveous McKinnis, Mississippi ($4,900)
McKinnis has played at least 25 minutes in three straight games, so it's easier to believe that he can keep this up. He has scored in double figures in back-to-back games despite averaging just five per game on the season. He even picked up a double-double against South Carolina. That likely represents the ceiling for McKinnis, but he is clearly involved in the Ole Miss offense right now. Judging by what he did at Jackson State last year, he should stay that way.
Also consider: Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($10,900); Brice Sensabaugh, Ohio State ($8,500); Clifford Omoruyi, Rutgers ($7,900); Jacob Toppin, Kentucky ($6,700); Jalen Hill, Oklahoma ($6,000); Maliq Brown, Syracuse ($5,600); Myles Burns, Mississippi ($5,300); Jakobe Coles, TCU ($4,000); Ismael Massoud, Kansas State ($3,900)
