Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 6:
Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka got a small boost after he rushed one time for 14 yards and a touchdown and caught six of his nine targets for 38 yards in his team's Week 5 win over the Dallas Cowboys. His yardage totals have been severely lacking so far this season, and he mustered just 52 yards total in the game, but his starting quarterback was out with a thumb injury. The touchdown rush accounted for over 43 percent of his fantasy production, but it's refreshing to see him getting goal-line work regardless.
Tampa Bay's offense has been one of the most disappointing in the league, but Egbuka reaffirmed his WR1 status, and when QB1 Baker Mayfield (thumb) returns, they'll have a chance to turn things around. For now, the road remains rocky, as undrafted free agent QB Jalon Daniels is set to start again in Week 6. But there is a glimmer of hope that Egbuka can remain heavily targeted and start to pay off his fourth-round redraft ADP.
D'Andre Swift, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (hip, knee) is battling hip and knee injuries that limited his usage in the second half of his team's Week 5 loss to the Green Bay Packers, per Bears insider Ben Devine. Green Bay was blowing out Chicago, which may have influenced the team's decision to give Swift just one carry in the second half. Still, it appears as though the veteran running back's availability for the Bears' Week 6 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons could be in question.
Fellow Chicago running back Kyle Monangai (toe, thumb) missed Week 5 with turf toe and could also be at risk of being sidelined in Week 6. With Swift and Monangai's health status in doubt, Bears RB3 Roschon Johnson could be a worthwhile deep-league waiver wire target for fantasy managers.
Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington delivered his biggest game of the 2026 season Sunday, catching six of nine targets for 124 yards and two touchdowns in a 19-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in London. He put Jacksonville on the board with a 51-yard catch-and-run in the first quarter, then made a spectacular one-handed, 27-yard touchdown grab on fourth-and-5 with 3:20 remaining to give the Jaguars a 16-14 lead. Washington accounted for both of Trevor Lawrence's touchdown passes and recorded the first multi-touchdown receiving game of his career.
The performance came just one week after he managed one catch for seven yards on three targets against Cincinnati. Washington has now caught 22 passes for 352 yards and four touchdowns on 35 targets through five games, building on his 847-yard campaign in 2025. He deserves WR2 consideration heading into another London matchup with Houston in Week 6, although his uneven target totals remain something for fantasy managers to watch.
Darius Cooper, Philadelphia Eagles
After recording just two catches through the first three weeks of the 2026 season, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Darius Cooper has emerged as a more reliable contributor lately. Across his last two games, Cooper has recorded five catches for 104 yards and three touchdowns on 10 targets. The 24-year-old has established himself as a red zone target for Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, as four of his seven catches on the season have gone for touchdowns.
The Eagles may get star wideout DeVonta Smith (hamstring) back from his two-game absence in Week 6, which would likely significantly impact Cooper's playing time and target share. Still, Cooper could be worth targeting on the waiver wire in deeper leagues just in case Smith remains sidelined by his hamstring injury for Philadelphia's Week 6 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
