Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football waiver wire outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider adding off waivers in Week 4:
Trey Benson, RB, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said he is fully confident in second-year running back Trey Benson's ability to take on a bigger workload with veteran back James Conner (ankle) sidelined for the remainder of 2025.
Benson appears to be in line to handle the vast majority of backfield touches in Arizona, at least in the immediate future. The 23-year-old has recorded 170 yards from scrimmage on 29 touches through his first three games of 2025.
In any fantasy league where Benson is not already rostered, he should be the number one priority add on the waiver wire heading into a Week 4 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen said that rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten "has taken a huge jump from the spring" and also compared him to Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving, whom he coached last year.
Tuten is focusing on all the little details and is still a work in progress in his first NFL season, but Coen has liked what he's seen, and there's no denying that the 23-year-old is an intriguing hold in all fantasy leagues, especially after the Jags traded Tank Bigsby to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.
Bigsby was limited in practice this week, but he's off the final injury report and will play in Week 3 against the division-rival Houston Texans, where he should be viewed as an RB3/flex with upside behind Travis Etienne Jr. Tuten had eight carries for 42 yards and also caught two passes for 32 yards and his first career touchown in last week's loss to the Cincinatti Bengals with an elevated workload.
Quentin Johnston, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
A lot of fantasy managers probably thought that Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston's two-touchdown performance in the Week 1 win over the Kansas City Chiefs was an outlier, but then he went for 71 yards and a third TD on the year in the Week 2 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
In the 23-20 Week 3 win over the Denver Broncos, the former first-rounder caught six of his 10 targets for a team-high 89 yards, although he didn't find the end zone. His 10 targets were second to only Keenan Allen's 11, and the third-year wideout has made it clear that his Week 1 performance wasn't a fluke.
Through three weeks, Johnston leads the Bolts with 239 receiving yards and is tied with Allen with three touchdowns while catching 14 of his 24 targets. If Johnston is still available in your league, pick him up immediately. He's currently rostered in 69% of Yahoo leagues.
Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry looked like an unstoppable force during Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Henry has been fairly quiet up until this game, but made a huge splash on Sunday. He hauled in eight of his 11 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. It's worth noting that Henry did briefly exit the game due to a lower body injury.
However, he returned and looked fine as he scored his second touchdown of the game. Drake Maye hasn't been able to find much success with any of his wide receivers, so Henry appears to be his safety blanket.
Fantasy managers shouldn't expect Henry to get double-digit targets every week. However, he should remain in the mix as a low-end TE1 for next week's matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
Brian Robinson Jr., RB, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers running back Brian Robinson Jr. handled just two carries for 22 yards in the team's Week 3 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Robinson played the change-of-pace role in Weeks 1 and 2, garnering snap shares of 25% and 22% and seeing nine and six rushes, respectively.
On Sunday, he was all but forgotten, seeing the field for just five of the team's 65 offensive snaps. He didn't see a single target. His first carry of the day didn't come until the third quarter, and the second, a 19-yard pickup representing the bulk of his production, came halfway through the fourth quarter.
Robinson's fantasy value at this point is solely as a handcuff for superstar Christian McCaffrey, who, with a league-leading 77 touches through three games, looks as healthy as ever.
