Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Pickups and Streamers for Week 23: 3/30 -4/5

Keldon Johnson - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Rankings, Injury News - rotoballer icon

Thunder Dan's fantasy basketball waiver wire pickups for Week 23 of the 2025-26 NBA season. Consider these players as fantasy basketball adds, streamers, and stashes.

This is it! If you made it this far, then you're probably playing in your league's championship matchup this week (or maybe in a third-place consolation game?) And if your league goes next week, too, then you really need to have some offseason discussions about moving the playoffs earlier. Adam Silver says he's going to fix the tanking epidemic, but that remains to be seen.

This will be my final article of the season. I will be covering baseball here at Rotoballer all summer long, and I'll be ready to rejoin the basketball fray for Summer League action and 2026 draft prep in a few months.

We are back down to 15% as the threshold this week, so if there are players above that threshold who are good pickups, you likely already know who they are, and they've probably been featured here several times before this season. Alright, friends, let's get to the finish line and help you secure a championship. Here are my top waiver adds and streamers for Week 23 of the NBA season.

Schedule Highlights

  • Denver and Portland have the dreaded TWO-game week!
  • Additionally, Golden State, Indiana, and Sacramento don't play until Wednesday. New Orleans doesn't play until Thursday, but then plays three games in four days to finish out the week.
  • Boston, Chicago, Memphis, and Utah each play four games WITHOUT playing a B2B set this week.
  • Only one Saturday-Sunday B2B this week - Washington.
  • Monday-Tuesday B2Bs to start the week - Cleveland, Dallas, Detroit, L.A. Lakers, and Phoenix.

Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire for Week 23

Will Riley - SF/PF (15%)

After a brief lull in production, Riley has been quite good again in his last two games. He's one of only a few Wizards players with a safe minutes floor, and he clearly has the green light to shoot on offense. That back-to-back set on Saturday and Sunday for Washington could be fantasy gold for teams that need a late-week push.

Oso Ighodaro - C (15%)

I was off Ighodaro last week because Phoenix played only two games, but the big man played very well in both of those games and should continue to start at center for the Suns while Mark Williams is out. The Suns start the week with a back-to-back set with Memphis and Orlando, both matchups that could result in some solid points, rebounds, and percentages for Ighodaro.

Ousmane Dieng - SF/PF/C (14%)

I hope you didn't give up on him too early, because Dieng had a really solid week, and his last line (12-6-5 with four steals and a three) is a good reminder of his upside as a complete 9-CAT player. With four games this week, he's a prime target with his ability to contribute across the board.

Kennedy Chandler - PG (14%)

Chandler has been a huge asset in assists since getting a chance to play the Isaiah Collier role in Utah. He has seven or more dimes in four straight games, and should continue to get a good chunk or run to finish out the season with the Jazz being in full tank mode.

Gary Payton II - SG (13%)

Payton continues to deliver very reliable value in points, boards, and steals even in a 22-to-24-minute bench role. He's also a nice boon to FG%, so he pairs well with big-man-focused teams in 9-CAT.

Keldon Johnson - SF/PF (13%)

Johnson is inside the top-100 over the last week and even two-week samples in 9-CAT. He's been uber-productive in his bench role, posting 17 points on 52% shooting in his last three games. He's pretty limited to just points, threes, boards, and FG%, but if that's what your team needs, then he's a great pickup with four games this week.

Sandro Mamukelashvili - PF/C  (12%)

Welcome back, Mamu! The big man with the sweet nickname is back on our radar after averaging 15 points, six boards, 1.5 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 2.3 threes over his last four games. Collin Murray-Boyles left last night's game early with an injury, and the Raps have at least one back-to-back set this week where starter Jakob Poeltl could be rested.

Four games of Mamu certainly pique my interest, given his fantasy-friendly game!

Olivier-Maxence Prosper - PF/C (12%)

Our guy O-Max had a 31-point game against Houston this week and continues to deliver some solid production in points and FG%. He's not much of a rebounder, but his ability to stretch the court and hit some threes is a nice bonus. He's a similar profile to Keldon Johnson, just a bit less predictable.

Sam Merrill - SG/SF (11%)

It was Max Strus who lit it up for the Cavs in their 149-point showing against Miami, but Merrill has been super steady now for two straight weeks. When the Cavs get Jaylon Tyson back, things can get hairy with minutes, but Merrill is a great fit for a team that wants to add threes without sacrificing FG%.

Ziaire Williams - SG/SF (10%)

Brooklyn's schedule isn't great this week, but Williams has scored 16 points in five straight games. He added six steals in one of those games and has 13 swipes in his last four! The Brooklyn mess of a roster can largely be ignored, but Williams is definitely worth a look this week.

Jordan Goodwin - PG/SG/SF (6%)

Goodwin is a really unique fantasy player. As a guard, he doesn't score much, and there simply aren't many shots to go around when you are playing with Devin Booker and Jalen Green, who are both hoisting up 20+ shots a night.

But what he can do is rebound the basketball at an elite rate for a guard, snagging 7 or more boards in six straight games. He also has two or more steals in six of his last seven. He's eligible at three positions and can be a sneaky add in boards, threes, and steals for teams who have the need.

Leonard Miller - SF/PF (5%)

Miller's production took a hit in his last game, but he's been a pretty solid asset in points, boards, and some defensive stats for Chicago in the last few weeks. I think he's likely to have some big games down the stretch as the Bulls have no reason not to develop him and some of their other younger players.

Kevin Huerter - SG/SF (4%)

The Pistons have been willing to give Huerter 20+ minutes now in six straight games, and he even popped off for 22 points in a spot start last week. His fantasy game is sneaky good when he gets minutes, and Detroit plays Monday and Tuesday to start the week.

Ja'Kobe Walter - SG (3%)

Walter has strung together some nice games recently, as the Raptors have been banged up in the backcourt. Keep an eye on Immanuel Quickley's status; if he continues to miss time, then Walter could draw a few more spot starts this week.

Jaxson Hayes - C (2%)

The Lakers' big man has posted two strong games in a row, one was a spot start, and the second game he basically split minutes with starter Deandre Ayton. The Lakers have a back-to-back set with the Wizards (a stat paradise for big men) and the Cavs, so I like Hayes' chances of having two usable games at least to start the week, especially with Ayton nursing a back injury (he could sit out one of those games to rest).

Good luck this week, friends, and never hesitate to reach out with questions on roster moves!
