1 year agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz and outfielder Luke Raley (hand) are not in the lineup on Friday against the visiting Kansas City Royals. Diaz is getting a regular day of rest, while Raley will sit out after injuring his right hand on Thursday. Harold Ramirez is playing first base and batting cleanup, while outfielder Manuel Margot will serve as the leadoff man against Royals right-hander Zack Greinke. Josh Lowe is serving as the designated hitter and is in the three-hole. Diaz and Raley have both been big assets for the Rays offensively in 2023, but fantasy managers will need to move them to their benches on Friday. Consider Raley to be day-to-day for now.
